saw the new allspark figures, including BB, Jazz, Barricade and Brawl but rather sucky..... why hasbro will design such crap???

What do kids of my age have? Ok the very very basics
1) A handphone 
2) A home console (ps2 or nex gen, still cost money if you support original games)
3) An mp3 player or an ipod
4) Branded clothing (Levi jeans anyone?)
5) A laptop (when you already have a desktop)

OK I don't have these stuff, do I demand for them, No. Why? Decided to use the money on TFs instead. Most of you think that for me, buying a TF is just as easy as swiping my dad's credit card. But you guys are so wrong. I think I have said it before, and I'll say it again. My parents DO NOT support my hobby funds at all. So are they spoiling me? No. How I get the money then? Starve at school, save pocket money, do silly things that other kids wouldn't.    After explaining to most of my friends about this, they won't call me rich anymore. hope it applies here aswell.  

The new transformer cartoon does not tingle my spine nor interest me.  I'd rather watch the reruns of the G1 series and TFTM.

Heck, even I'm buying one. But mine is not AllSpark power, get takala bettah I'm most likely gonna get desert attack brawl too. Thinking of completing the leader class line for TFTM. So guess gotta get him too

Was thinking of getting leader megatron until I saw the pic of premium leader megatron. Much better looking paint job and headsculpt. Current head sculpt reminds me of a gorilla.

Sorry to burst your bubble but for the TFTM figure original release, no difference between takara and hasbro. The takara ones also from the same hasbro factory. Only difference is the Takara sticker in front and below.

I have mixture of hasbro and takara and they are the same quality paint job wise.

The perceive quality difference that some might notice is

a) you pay more for Takara hence it is natural to expect something 'more'

b) due to manufacturing tolerance. Sometimes in the same batch you get slightly better paint job and sometimes not, doesn't matter Takara or Hasbro. I have seen good/ bad paint job on both.

As for the Nightwatch prime, the paintjob difference nothing to do with the quality. It's just different marketing decisions. Takara Nightwatch OP they went with a UK special edition OP which was released months ago while Hasbro went with the Allspark theme. Hence the ugly looking allspark blue.
