Haha. As I mentioned before, strictly educational purpose only.
Not sure how long this info will last if they find out their hole in the webpage.
Anyone tried this? kawteem

Thanks & kudos to edwardccg !
Which method did you use? Did you run the script before or after you key in the top up amount? Mine seems encounter error.. The CC option didn't appear or I did wrongly on the sequence..: p

I use method one. After you key in the top up amount and click top up, the webpage should refresh with the payment option. Execute the code from thereon.

Great power comes with great responsibility, sorry uncle ben, steal your quote a bit.
Who will volunteer to take up this role?
What clue should you leave behind for other to PM you?

I'll be surprise if someone is willing to do this.

kawteem said he confirmed it is working in previous post, I assumed he did top-up.
Indeed, I grab the code from chrome and it is working. But I did not proceed the top up in the end.

We had fun working together, I'll remove my code or pic tomorrow morning too. bye.gif

Fortunately I only reload RM50 to test it out. Indeed only entitled 0.2% for CIMB CB.
This card is good for CC that gives rebate for mobile payment.
Or a place to hit your CC spending target while keeping your cash.

Anyone know what is the minimum amount need to keep in the card?
Can straight away use up all RM50?

Since CC top up is categorized as mobile bill payment, and CIMB CC states clearly only 0.2% rebate for MCC 4814, does it mean hlb wise card is eligible for 10% if your selected rebate category includes 4814?

Saw some where in hlb wise card forum mcc pdf contain 4814.

1) if u read deep enough, hlb wise's mobile category is limited (hardcoded) to selected telcos.

2) even IF any merchants with MCC 4814 is eligible, you can only reload once for new cards. so, heavily discussing about it is a moot anyway.

unless, of course, one fine day TPaay opens up credit card reload, then the prospect of this card's usefulness would be resurrected  biggrin.gif

I see, merchant code and merchant is two separate thing. That's why they can hardcode selected merchant. Thanks for the info.

Haha, seems like Airasia realized too many people reload using CC and they closed the hole already. Even if you reveal the cute little CC option, the server will just discard the request and bring you back to the topup page. At least that is what I see today using Chrome.

Congratulation to those successfully topup using the hole previously. cool2.gif

Yea it seems so. Actually I thought it's in their interest when more people reload and use their cards because they should get some transaction fee out of it. Not sure why they discontinued it  hmm.gif

I don't mind if they pass on the payment gateway cost to us if it's not overly high. At least there's an option to reload with CC.

The payment gateway cost is least of their concern.
Topup debit card with cc is actually a way to circumvent the cc cash withdrawal feature.
You do know how much they charge for cc withdrawal right? Bank will definitely put pressure on those who allowed this.
My 2 cents.
