That's.... sort of the most important feature of the card? Here we're all talking about CC reload cos its a nice bonus, but the purpose of BigPay and all Airasia cards is zero processing fee.

and RM2 off in-flight meal and luggage (see post #1)

They are good in doing No-Frills businesses.
Once they establish, they will create and ask you to buy "add-on".
Topup BigPay by Credit card is waived at this moment but it will be a chargeable add-on. ("Convenience Fee")
*
well, when that time comes, it's our decision to stay or to cancel.
if there is a massive cancellations, BigPay will have difficulties to rebuild the card user base all over again. And it won't be easy.

Look at what Maybankard 2 went thru.

Found the above image of someone withdraw at Thai and get charged by local bank.

To those running short of foreign currency while abroad, instead of ATM withdrawal, can consider paying expenses using BigPay wherever possible, especially if in a group, then collect cash from your peers. This may also eliminate the potential extra bank charges for ATM withdrawal from abroad.

btw, the export excel function is sucks, i tried many method and the only method that went through is send through wechat then only it will create the excel file...
*

Tried to use this card overseas in China. Transaction did not go through. Hmm any reasons?
*
likely the issue with the card terminal, not the card.
my family were not able to use any visa/mastercard, too while paying for hotel in China and the hotel personnel said that their terminal does not open for 'international' credit cards. i supposed in some places, only Alipay/Wechat Pay is better received than credit cards.

So in the end how to pay for hotel?
*
China relative took over the payment with Alipay.
This incident kinda taught me a lesson that credit card can be quite useless in China, hence the need for WeChat Pay or Alipay to work for us in China wallet.

For Beijing I went, no issue with VISA even in Hotel. Maybe not Beijing?

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 3 2018, 10:24 AM)
Beijing still OK, I can even use AmEx there. Shanghai also OK, relatively first tier cities should be OK.
I encountered issue in Chengdu, Chongqing and Yunnan for accepting international cards.

That said, I use cashless wallet in China now. Credit cards are not something which their merchants prefer these days.
*
Yes, it was FuZhou.

Why not nice?

I need a guidance.

oh shopee, when we key in the BigPay card details, on the payment page we need to key in the expiry date, how to put the number?

example 04/21 - is it 0421 or 042021?

because i put and proceed it prompt wrong expiry date. any idea how?
*
I used the app to add new card.
At the expiry date field, it will prompt you to scroll thru month/year pickers. Easier that way.

Spent in TWD yesterday using BigPay.

xe.com - TWD 100 = 13.2629

but today's money changer is 13.18

could xe.com be more expensive than money changer?

Paying AirAsia with BP really worth it, u got 2 X Big points for every RM1 on the air tickets and also RM6 rebates from meals and luggage~ The plus points the receipt is separate for the deduction, means u earn RM6 CB on flight order for company claim~
*
I just bought AirAsia ticket with BP, but don't see the 2X points for each RM1. Does the point reflect immediately on the same day or do i have to wait a few more days?
How many points do you see in BP app?

Thanks for the information! Now I can use those channels to add in Big account for more points~
Please see attachments. The 532 points is given for the ticket. My ticket is premium flex, so meal and luggage was included but I dunno the case for add on purchase.
Haha, I'm talking about CB4U, if you only got PBVS then just reload with it every week while applying for PB Quantum 2 Cards at the same time for more benefit.

Attachment for reference.
Above email dated May 2018.

TS Request : If anyone did not receive the supposed BigPoints on oversea usage, RM2 = 1 BigPoints, please do claim back from BigPay and update us the claiming status. Thanks.

Update : I have emailed in June 2018 to reconfirm that we may earn all foreign currency spending RM2 = 1 BigPoints. I have no oversea transaction, so unable to verify or make claim. Anyone please revert the status if you have done so.
*
Do we have an updated info on the rewarding points of overseas spend, yet?

I scare to use this card in overseas too.... what if payment failed when i make payment at the terminal and they deduct the amount from my card and I already fly back to Malaysia?
*
local or overseas, any issue with using the card is dealing direct with BigPay, not the merchant, right?
sorry, but I can't comprehend the reasoning here.

I know you paid with BP. The AA Big point also depends on which tier you are in the Air Asia BIG.
Like RED tier in the attachment below. So, which tier are you?
