Those days of 5%.... Sigh that was very good. Now 1% for most of us not worth it compared to Maybank2kard, PBB cards, etc
*
When the quota of M2card Amex, PBB VS, PBB Master Quantum, MBB Barcelona VS has been depleted, it is one of the available choices.
With the incoming MBB treatpoints inflation 500TP = RM1, M2card amex is just 1% (via treatpoints) after the weekend cash rebate has depleted.

I will stop here since this is bigpay thread

to those who had problem to pay Shopee by using BigPay card, you may try again now. should be able to work

i just noticed that Shopee has changed their payment gateway to ipay88. and the merchant bank is public bank.

when i made payment at shopee just now, i noted that all my previously saved card info was wiped out, and i have to add to card information one by one again. i successfully added my bigpay card, it pre-authorized RM1 during the process

I don't have cc only got debit. I wish to pay HL insurance. I'm struggling whether to top up big pay to pay (earn big point but unsure 7%CB) or pay directly at HL website (izit confirmed 7% CB with this way?)

Any advice.

Post edit:Sorry, just noticed on TnC, insurance excluded.

use debit card to top up big pay to get 7%. then use big pay to pay insurance

Just noticed something to share, I try to top up 2k to BP with HL debit, but failed as the daily limit hit. But my retail daily limit is 5k, other limit like transfer is 1k. Meaning topping up BP not considered retail. The 7% CB most likely will not be entitled.
*
try to check your internet purchase limit.

login HLB online banking --> other services --> Change Retail / Online Purchase Limit --> look for Internet Purchase Limit (MYR)

Maximum Allowed 5,000.00
Limit You've Set 5,000.00

My friend apply BigPay end May, finally receive his card last week after recard.. first one gone missing.. 2nd Card only receive last week after several follow up.

When activate his card, only have RM20 balance without the RM10 referral rewards. I check my referral, also didn’t get any n notice it still show pending activation for my referral despite he has already activated it..

A bad experience to him with several follow up, ended up still need to call to get back the referral rewards.. yet, not easy to call even during office hour.. he almost want to throw away the card d..

Make me feel guilty to ask him to apply this card.. he said he very regret to apply this card.. somemore need to wait like ages to get card with several follow ups yet still have problem
*
phone call is very difficult as there is always long waiting time

did he try to contact bigpay support via the bigpay app? from my recent encounter, they reply me within 3 hours

Linked BigPay to Fave... The authorization amount of RM 2 is still "pending" but not reversed. Usually quite fast, this is since Thursday. What should I do? Wait only? Or ignore? sweat.gif

i called ocbc. their cash rebate is not paid to you all in one month. it's divided by 2 (current month and another one is on next month). ocbc cs also told me that bigpay is not considered as online transaction. hence only 0.1%. this is because i checked my statement, there is no 1% rebate. only 0.1%  doh.gif
*
yes. cash rebate for online transaction is given in 2 batches,
- 0.1% will be given to your on your statement date. you will be able to see this in your statement
- 0.9% will be given to your 1 to 2 days after your statement date. you can see this under "unbilled transcation" or the next statement, but not current statement

so far based on my experience, it does give 1% for bigpay, provided you did not swipe too much (more than your credit limit).

if you swiped more than your credit limit, then the cashback will be processed manually and the management will not give 1% (reason: the transaction is not for personal usage)

i checked mine is none. no transaction on my unbilled transaction (already more than 2 days after my statement date). that is why i called in to OCBC to clarify cry.gif  i only try it 1 time to check whether OCBC will give 1% or not.. total transaction in my card only 2  laugh.gif so in my case, definitely won't over my credit limit  sweat.gif

weird..  hmm.gif  i guess i will write in to ask OCBC to clarify on this.. or wait until next statement
*
wait for few more days.
my just open internetbanking

my statement date on 11th. the 0.9% comes in on 17th
