One question..... why Android phone cannot screen shot? bangwall.gif
*
It's a security issue for us. We don't want any third party apps to be able to record anything on your screen because it's sensitive financial information. I know Apple allows it, and even some other banking apps on Android... but we're not them biggrin.gif

QUOTE(drbone @ Jul 4 2018, 10:13 AM)
Jonathan , it would be great if bigpay has options to reload using AMEX cards.
*
It seems to be a growing demand. It just requires a bit of time to implement, but I'll push for it to be put in the roadmap.

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jul 4 2018, 11:03 AM)
that's the different between Android and Apple, you can see so many Fappening celebrities holding iPhone with their selfie~
*
biggrin.gif that's a great answer! You're hired.

BigPayJonathan any comment on this? No more credit card top up option in the coming future?
*
The short answer is: you will always be able to top up your BigPay with a credit card.

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jul 4 2018, 05:44 PM)
is the feature available in today's app?

it need both parties to involve. bigpay to develop, test, implement, and enable this feature (to recognize the merchant QR) .... and merchants to onboard with them with offers.

why not ask BigPayJonathan if QR Pay is in their pipeline? if yes, does it partner with other QR solutions, e.g. Maybank QRpay or standalone per BNM's ICTF?
*
If you think of it, it's a completely different strategy. Our card is accepted everywhere in the world - not just in Malaysia. Other players need to individually acquire each merchant. In terms of scaleability, it's a bit of a nightmare... We don't want to be limited. We want people to use BigPay absolutely everywhere and for everything. Plus, what happens if your phone's out of battery or if you don't have any signal? When we roll out paywave, I don't see how it won't be just as easy (if not easier) to tap your card rather than going into an app and triggering a QR payment smile.gif But I'm happy to hear y'all opinions on it!

So, we can’t use BigPay for autodebit transaction anymore?
I rmb you said GE autodebit is ok this month? So, is Prudential problem or BigPay limitation?

BigPayJonathan, can you assist on this? My Prudential autodebit just sign up ytd, next due date is early next month.
*
For those inquiries, I'd rather have you guys get in touch with our support team via Facebook smile.gif They'll be the ones answering directly rather than me playing the middle man. Much more efficient for everyone!

I am still a bit confused.
Oversea RM2 = 1 point still applicable?
I made a few oversea transaction which are just RM 20 = 1
*
RM2 = 1 point when overseas was for BIG Prepaid.

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jul 6 2018, 01:54 PM)
yes, we are refering to your post link - https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=89139153
Bigpay should have RM2 = 1 Big point as well right?
RM20 = 1 points for Boost
*
BigPay is different than BIG Prepaid. BigPay gives BIG points on every transaction, local or abroad. BIG Prepaid used to give BIG points ONLY on overseas transactions. With BigPay, it's the same ratio everywhere: spend RM20 = receive 1 point. If you look at the bigger picture, most people would be able to earn a lot more BIG points like this! Can't even remember the last time I was abroad sad.gif

Hey guys. Yeah, it's been a "great" Sunday... Long story short, the app was down for about 7 hours. Here are all the different things that might have happened to you and how things will be solved.

- You tried topping up and the money was deducted from your credit / debit card, but it doesn't show in your BigPay account. We will manually settle all top ups that were made during down time yesterday and the balance will be reflected accordingly. Depending on the amount of top up attempts that were made, it should be done by end of day tomorrow.

- You tried paying for something. The transaction was declined, but the amount was still deducted from your BigPay account. Same as above: we will manually settle all failed transactions. This process is a bit more tedious as it involves more work for our finance department - but all hands are on deck. I'll keep you posted on the resolution timeline.

We also posted an official statement on Facebook that I invite everyone to read: https://www.facebook.com/bigpayme

BigPayJonathan i think you really need to take action on those posting referral code publicly at facebook, those people are same people on every post and it is quite annoying.
I believe the TnC already stated and please take action on those who post in facebook publicly and not just friends.

I know...

Agree with you and totally make sense. Hope bigpay top management look this very seriously.

I rather they focus on the stability now and postpone those new features later.
*
We're taking it extremely seriously. Whether you believe me or you think this is just some marketing gibberish, we really have a team whose goal is to change the way people think about their money in Malaysia. For too long, customers have had to accept bad customer service and shady fees without having any say in this. We're trying to change it. Of course, we look bad when there's something that goes wrong and our app is down. People are frustrated, especially because it's about money, and I'm 100% with them on that. It's not acceptable. But just the fact that I'm posting here or that we can solve most of our users' issues after a couple of Facebook messages is proof that we want to be different.

We're building and consolidating the infrastructure that'll allow us to be 100% reliable 100% of the time. Once the big bricks will be laid, we'll be able to reach out to you guys, ask you what are the challenges that you face on a daily basis and provide you with concrete answers and solutions within a few weeks or so. Our plan is to have a product roadmap where you can decide what's next. It's going to take a bit of time as we're facing technical, legal and even manpower related issues. But we'll get there. I wouldn't be working at BigPay if I didn't believe it. We'll probably lose people along the way, and I completely understand why. Ultimately, users have all the power - and companies need to listen to them.

We're finalising our roadmap until the end of the year. But the goal is to create some sort of Trello board / polling stations / suggestion box where the most wanted features get prioritised!

Paying AirAsia with BP really worth it, u got 2 X Big points for every RM1 on the air tickets and also RM6 rebates from meals and luggage~ The plus points the receipt is separate for the deduction, means u earn RM6 CB on flight order for company claim~
*
Essentially, if you pay within the entire AirAsia eco-system with BigPay... It really becomes something else. BIG Loyalty has deals with tons of lifestyle and travel related merchants: https://www.airasiabig.com/my/en/earn-redee...style#ecommerce

If you shop using their direct link, you'll earn points. Pay with BigPay, earn even more points. Stuff like that. I had started mapping out a customer journey within the AirAsia eco-system with and without BigPay, and the difference is huge in terms of BIG Points!

just out of curiosity, why split your topup into 9 separate times?  hmm.gif
*
People have been experiencing issue when trying to do back-to-back top ups. If one transaction fails but amount is still deducted from issuing card's account, we automatically settle the transaction and the top up is reflected in your BigPay account. Nothing unusual here!

Yeah, as said earlier... BIG Loyalty was down over the weekend, and there were some weird issues following that. Anyone who's encountered issues with BIG Points, should be fixed by the end of the week.
