I tot wechat need a China bank account.

Not needed but if you want to use in China, your identity needs to be verified and it's for China residents only.

This one is for WeChat Malaysia wallet. I will explore later at night, I already have existing China wallet.

Anyone have problem topping up but bigpay charges the cc anyway? Bigpay and bank main taichi, both sides refused to take action

Mine still 6.6.6, it's OK then. After all, I don't think it will work in China which is my priority. I will continue asking my colleagues to give me angpau via WeChat to be spent in China.

For DBS/POSB ATM the limit for each transaction is S$2k.

Mine is 6.6.6 version, with China Wallet activated. Log off and then log in, switch to Malaysia WeChat Pay message appear, click upper right icon to switch over.
Activated and top up with BigPay.

I logged out and logged in, no message appears to switch to Malaysia WeChat Pay.
So cannot add.

But I can add BigPay in China Wallet which basically serves no purpose.

I have logged and re-logged in several times.

Mine is Android 6.6.6 though. Good job for adding BigPay to WeChat wallet. Looks like all prepaid cards may work.

But if top up the bigpay card by credit card (hmm.. If using U Yolo card), then consider as online can get cashback from CC?
