An again, wat i like seem to be unloved n underrated. well its kinda slow for me since 1 Genius Party was shown in theater in Japan on 7th July, 2nd volume is schedule to release early 2008.

i just feel awe. well so far i watched Genius Party n partially Shanghai Dragon (i assumed).
both are great n awesome. n iinm, Shanghai Dragon, it figure why there is mecha in it as u know, he did macross n escaflowne afterall.
Genius Party is basically a avant-garde stuff (well basically i think everything in that series is one, but this one is just pure avant-garde stuff with no plot). its beautifully done. i cant really describe wats bout unless for u guys to watch urself.

Shanghai Dragon, well when i watch it, i thought i got chinese dub one. (coz previously Genius Party dun have talking at all). but heck, they are in china (i guess, or the title say it all) hence everyone spoke chinese until space ppl spoke (u guess it, japanese). its bout a boy who love to draw n got his hand on fallen artifact from space (pen like stuff) which make him able to draw something into realistic (in crude way since that brat scribble stuff) n alien invasion shiet (just think macross). It was cool though but heck i had to stop, coz gotta go to work .

Shinichiro Watanabe's Baby Blue is ok. though i could roughly grasp the story, the guy is leaving hence she ask the girl to follow him to beach or something. there arent much of wat u wan it from Samurai Champloo or Cowboy Bebop crazyness, but there is a bit of how he direct it in some sort drama'ish story (like how story bout Jin n the girl who being sold to brothel minus those Mugen crazy stun) well, not entirely, police chase was funny (they are on bicycle, both of em ) n as well as throwing grenade (they stole when they were young from military base).

well, finally we gotta see Tatsuyuki Tanaka's Cannabis Works, animated. (Cannabis Works is Tatsuyuki Tanaka's artbooks title, great artbook btw)

1st one is awesome, cant wait for the Beyond. XD
