with proper airflow, exhaust and intake fans, i think it shouldn't be any problems in cooling the hardware inside...
tranparent casing is not my taste.but last time thinking of getting one transparent casing and spray the internal together with added hardware logo. must be cool IMHO...nod.gif

just to make things easy:

u just assemble it like normal (follow the manual)

after finish it, terbalik kan the whole casing

u got btx style rite blush.gif

then switch the top panel with the bottom one wink.gif

coz u don't need the fan hole at the bottom, u want it at the top --> later u can mod it = 2x120mm brows.gif

the psu stay at the bottom --> can function as a exhaust fan at the bottom

LOL, just like those btx project in the work log laugh.gif

i hope u understand

From what i see, transparent case it great to match with 2mm Alu.
You can make a tribal or fire design on a piece of alu sheet and put it on the case.
It will be really great.
Thats just IMO.

Besides that, transparent case also very easy to mod for those who are very creative and rich with ideas. biggrin.gif

Not very xpensive. U r finding 4 side panel or full? Like mine, some cheap brand E-View sweat.gif side panel transp only
around 160. Try 2 get a strong type. Or else easily break. rclxub.gif

It costs Aud 125 (Melbourne).
With the Nexus running at stock speed, the CPU temp is 39 deg idle, don't know much about the VGA temp. But it has been stable priming for 1 day. So I guess the temp should be ok.

actually depends on brand...got other cheapo brand at RM 220...the light inside depends on ur casing whether it is uv reactive or not
mine is uv reactive...so uv LED fans or UV ccfl need to lighten up the case...
one fan cost for RM30 and UV ccfl also cost RM 30

Just wondering guys, isn't a transparent chassis rather glaring to the eye. Especially if u put a whole bunch of LEDs in it?

Thanks for the comment. It looks ok from the front but looks very bad cable management from the side as there's no place to hide the cables.

I just been to Sri Computer, saw two model of transparent casing. The one rm299 with Blue UV type of transparent casing is Sunbeam casing or not?

I saw another transparent casing with RM399. Just wonder what is the different with rm299 model?

Do you guys think is it worth so much money?

how is the air flow of it? how much does it cost? how many fan can it fit?
*
the airflow is quite good coz the casing itself have 3 fans included in package...so if u add one more should be 4 fans...1 intake,1 blower, 2 sidepanel..

cost?? i dun know the price now...but prepare Rm 180-240...last time i bought it at rm 300 sweat.gif sweat.gif

how many fan....ok...there are holes front intake, blower, 2x side panel, optional 2 more inside the side panel, small blower above...so total is..7

but u should google it...dun just asking sweat.gif

i had read some review of the casing .. it is not bad... but how is the fan that u people personally think that comes in default..

How is the cooling performance if i am going to compare this to cm690?
Reviews doesn't mention a thing on air flow n cooling.. they just simply praise it has a bloody amount of fan slot

the casing is very excellent in cooling...coz of the fans and wideness allowing good airflow...
comparing to my TT tsunami dream...the difference is quite big...10 - 7 celcius icon_rolleyes.gif
the position of my hard disks(running 4 hdd - the main source of high heat sweat.gif ) aligned to the processor and to the exhaust fan...this is the main advantage as it allow excellent airflow from intake to exhaust...

if u buy UV-reactive casing..u can put the ccfl on top and bottom...
for plain transparent casing...put 4 ccfl around 4 corners... thumbup.gif

Many shops starts to import such casing. But one thing I really scare of is... how sturdy is it? Can I carry it around? If I got a gigantic cooler inside and gigantic gc? All those weight is what I scare of.

What I can imagine is, it something like carrying a aquarium filled with waters... shakehead.gif
