QUOTE(CompMac @ Dec 11 2007, 01:01 AM) Actually the JPG setting from the E-3 is good enough liao. Unless you process from RAW, I don't think there is a need to adjust the JPG direct from the E-3. but i still shoot in RAw + jpg cause just in case wanna set WBI'm always happy with Olympus cameras to be able to produce JPGs at 1/2.7 compression even for prosumer range. Other manufacturers just ignore this and mostly set it at 1/4 for best quality. |

The first pic i post is from the default jpeg mode straight out from the camera..i use vivid color mode...that why the skin tone a bit warm..anyway i prefer warm skin tone..
luckily i shoot in raw+jpeg i can change the WB to the potrait color mode and here is the result.. Camera model :E-3 Len type: ZD 50mm f2.0 Aperture: f/4 Shutter: 1/100s iso:200 metering mode: spot so you guys prefer which skin tone? vivid or potrait as shown in this pic.? Attached thumbnail(s) |

Hehehe so the potrait color mode is indeed optimised for potrait
so i should stay away from vivid mode when taking potrait. |
