Sifu Q, for jigging in linggi hor , there are bound to be changing of tide twice a day ma, it is during tis time ( abt 1-2 hrs) that is best to jig cos no or less current , i think 150 gm oso can sampai bawah. Anyway , i tok kok oni la, u ppl baru sifu jig jig ma, i still newbie, oni know how to apollo jig niah.

There's fallback if you ONLY jig for that 2 hours...when it's dead tide, there is no plankton and oxygen, the fish will become sluggish too... I would say, less strike or NO strike for that 2 hours... Many pro anglers told me, it's 1~2hours before and after the peak tide... hrmm depth ar .. around 200Ft plus for certain lubuk.. such as shipwreck, other's not really sure.. karang area more or less below 160Ft some might be around 100~150Ft

i think the 100~150feet can just use 100gram jig max..

Actually according to the calendar i have the tide would be slowing down already on this weekend.. but its still high.. beginning to slow down only.. Anyway just prepare the jigs lor.. mana tau got extra fish can bring for next week's TT hahaha

So, what's the status of the Bangsamran tit this cuming July, 2008?
Ho, Those double decker buses are very CUMfortable, wan. Aerobust cost RM80, 1-way. Return from Stinkapore cost more. In fact, there are many other express buses that ply KL-Sg e.g. Nice, Plus Liner, etc Try and google and see what shows up. |

what i mean is i did a FG knot from the main line to the leader...the leader is 4lam. Just in case if i got snagged or leader being bitten off, i dont have to re-tie the FG knot. I just need to retie the swivel nia. Added on December 14, 2007, 10:06 ami was thinking and considering to use lighter poundage line like 20~30lb so that my jigs can reach the bottom without much drag... on the other hand...my 20~30lb lines is not enough and will result in total lost condition if the fish start to tarik..even a little tarik also habis line liao...kekekek Unless i buy new lines, i guess i'll stick with my 40lb for the time being...kekeke Bro Ho, You dont want to contribute your lam and pah meh? personally felt that 40lb is enuff to tackle whatever water in Malaysia...those in Sabah and Sarawak is excluded...never been there so no comment.
some part in Jarak water is about 20m only..esp at the pinnacle area...most likely using 20lb for those areas...and 60~80grams.. I think this round at Jarak we will use max 200grams nia.. |

The other day when i hunt for rod building materials for bro B, bump myself into a great blank. Bought the blank for the future build for myself.
It's a light jigging rod PE2 rating nia.... What do you guys think of this design?  Of course the butt handle is longer for my ketiak la... Added on December 14, 2007, 11:17 amall comments appreciated... Anyway, i have no intention to build the rod yet ler... In the midst of building bro Rapala's rod... Then gotta shape the EVA of Bro B and Bro S2002's rod handle....(while waiting for bro Rapala's rod to dry up) Then guide binding for both bro B and Bro s2002's rod and epox them one after another By then, should be quite close to our Jarak trip liao..... Agree to you bro Q.
The top handle is similar to alot of made up rod in the market..i just take the design nia.. The butt handle being placed in 2 different diameter is for our palm to rest nia.. :)nothing more than that.. if the diameter is thick for palm, then it's not comfortable liao... anyway, the palm part is individual thingy |

I'm looking for a new hobby, one that can pass time easily. I saw this thread as I refresh the forum main page. I would like to know where is a nice place to fish during the weekend, a place to go for a nice peaceful Sunday. Oh by the way, I live in KLang... so please dont recommend me any places that's out of reach. Thank you. |

Location Rabbit Cafe Sri Petaling Time about 8pm or 8something malaysian time.. Proposing tarakpiah fish for chef to cook and a special dish..prepared by chef. Still dunno what is it cause never tried it. TT oso need ppl to come and discuess tok kok one lehh ... if nobody no point TT laa ... just decide what time to meet where on that day itself oso can liauu ... everybody driving themselves and just meet at lumut only lorr .. hehehehehe

i dont think i want to drive la. My car supction sudah kong, very dangerous to drive out station, some more boots very small, cannot load in things leh.......

i can drive.....but dont think is safe loh....some more no space at the boot, can't load in much think and don't even think to load in a 6'ft rod, because is just a small car.........
