me new here..will become personarian only few days from today. following this thread from the beginning but nvr reply. booked my car t.black h-line on 21 jan 08, maybe get the car before CNY. my car, loan, document is ready, only registration process not done.

even my car still not on the road, feel happy already:D

I have the same feeling with you when i saw the picture of CPS Campro engine installed in Waja.

how wei?.. mine still 10.4L/100km.. due for 5k service but not yet go...
will i see a great reduction in the FC after the 5k service?

the leather seats is already included in the normal Waja Campro. no costs there.
that eletrically retracting side mirrors, i see no use for it. well maybe it's just me. since i never flip my side mirror once parked.
that HID, waja already comes with projector lamps. and i rarely see people use the projector lamps on the road because it blinds others. or maybe the normal reflector? i have no idea, but rarely see Waja turning on the full lamp. my friends say people will flash because it blinds opposing traffic.
that auto cruise is kindda great to have. wonder why it's only for auto? manuals can't be fitted with autocruise issit?

but still, an additional RM10k for a normal you-see-everyday design?

b.tea. booked last year nov 07.. i was surprised that i could get the car on dec 07 but i passed. i don't want to have a car with manufactured date 07, registered 08.. so i skipped and wait for Jan 08 production

my car was rolled out from the factory on 8th jan 08 (8.1.8).. nice eh?

so far no probs.. only very minor quirks.. the car is better than expected!

after a few hundreds k's.. i experienced this problems:-

1) cd player have problems reading and ejecting cds.. always display CD ERROR message
2) slight noise when going over bump while turning the steering
3) vibration at 100km/h - could it be the driveshaft prob?

anybody got the same probs as mine?

i'm gonna complain on the first 1000km service.

i just got back from lumut.. the problem is... my maid went and got some coconuts la and put in the boot... then cos of hot sun and also left the coconut int he boot overnight the boot is damnnnn bloody smelly la lol to the point the whole car has that weird smell la.. it smells like.. buah ripe kow kow edi.. that fermented smell.. dunno what to do la..

you guys got any ideas how to get rid of this smell?

ohh could be the road uneven also... got alot of factors la..
tapi persona is a pretty heavy car la so 120-130 should not have floating problem la, so i was surprised when i read yr post..
handling pun supposedly by the one and only lotus mamak restaurant hahaha

The "floating" feel has something to do with the suspension damping, higher profile tyre and taller ride height.

Persona ride & handling is well balanced between comfort and sporty driving.  
BUT don't be fooled by the "Floating" feel...because this car can handle slow-mid speed sharp turn very well. If you are going to fast, slight understeer occur, listen to the tyre streching noise...  

Handbraking 180 turn is easy, go at 60km/h, lock the e-brake, see the car slide.....but because of the heavier body, need little bit more speed to "skid"....now my front tyre sidewall got some cut after stunt driving.  

ystdy i went to test drive, wow, i think is quite powerful for manual. the audio system is quite cool either.
but i wanted to test on auto. wonder if is as good as manual.
anyway, the SA say can get the car almost immediately without needing to wait long.
