hi guys.. been awhile since i posted here... hows yr personas???...
mine is doing fine.. its about close to 13k KM now.. got a few issues..
1. my average FC meter. still shows 11.2l/km.. i dont know why.. even when i reset it.. it will go up to like 14.. and very.. and i mean VERRRY slowly drop to 11 around there..... is there something wrong?... even though the meter shows 11.2 but i notice the car's FC is much better la... not like last time (before the 10k service)
2. my air cond blower doesnt seem to be that strong anymore.. and the car feels so hot and takes a long time to cool down... even when the air cond blower speed is set to maximum it still feels like the air flow is not so strong.. but when u put yr hand at the outlet.. the air thats coming out is cold.. but the blower is not strong.... could the problem relate to the blower fan?.. as i have heard the fan making some weird sounds before...

I personally drive a 1.6 Gen2 manual without IAFM and I suffered the same problem after about one year plus of owning the car. I went to the air-con repairer and the shop owner just swapped a "internal" filter located underneath the front passenger area (it should be somewhere beneath the glovebox if for persona). The cost was around RM60 with installation. According to him, all new proton cars have this filter. Once the filter is changed, the air flow is very good and the air gets cooler real quick. I am driving my Gen2 for almost three years already and it is almost time to change the filter again as I can feel the aircon is getting slower already. FYI, I changed the filter on my second year of usage as well. So I make it a custom to change it every year now and I am really grateful for that filter (some plus points for Proton cars) as when the filter is removed you can really see the dirt that it managed to filter which would otherwise be circulated over and over and we would be breathing such polluted air. Cheers hey thnx for the reply... but this got me wondering.. i've only had the car for about almost 5 months now... so fast the filter dirty?..
