QUOTE(slickz @ Mar 14 2008, 02:41 PM) what's the MD5 checksum for the new firmware? uncle google isnt telling me The checksum is right in the PUP's URL (one level up of the .PUP). Yeah PS3 definitely checks Sony's signature before updating.EDIT: nvm... ps3 runs integrity check before using the update file right..? |

QUOTE(tot31 @ Mar 25 2008, 04:44 PM) rx, before this PS3 can't read divx subtitles but the new 2.20 firmware suppose to have this features. Damn..I tried srt and ssa...still can't get it work. Separate .srt wont workYou have to use http://userxp.tripod.com/sub2divx.htm. No reencoding needed. |

QUOTE(Ninja @ Mar 28 2008, 12:03 PM) The UK update is NOT UP yet. Dunno why this week they are so late. Normally UK PSN Store is updated around Fridays 12pm-2pm GMT.. Only on a few occasions they updated it on Thursdays or earlier |

QUOTE(I3eerI3elly @ Mar 31 2008, 12:58 PM) Can the PS3 support 250gig HD? I'm thinking of getting a 250gig drive so that I can store all my video and music inside. Yep PS3 does support any 2.5" SATA drive as long as the thickness is 9mm. I've changed my internal drive to 250GB I currently have a 250GB external HDD which stores all my media files but PS3 cannot have playlist for MP3s stored on external drive.....why sony why??? |

Maxis wireless BB is using HSDPA technology. There are various ways to connect to HSDPA network using PS3.
1) USB HSDPA modem connected to PC hosting ICS 2) HSDPA-capable phone connected to PC hosting ICS 3) HSDPA modem+router w/ ethernet ports The easiest way is number 3. |
