Actually I very agree with you.. Spoiler not really important.. I like the stock spoiler like your car which got 3 pieces spoiler.. While our 1 only got 1 piece.. But maybe I will take out my stock spoiler and replace with M3 spoiler.. It look nice indeed...

why all of the vacuum meter reading is so weird...my one start with 0, -2, -4, -6, -8, and etc...is it the same?

this indicates how underpowered our 1.3 engine is
my brother's 1.5 only drop by about 3inHg

now u know y when a/c compressor kicks in there is such a large drop in power

Yes.. Even my ride in term 0-100km/h, I can beat my friend waja..  LMST good in term of pick up.. Should proud of it.

Let me tell you something.. gauge stick at windscreen not really good.. Your windscreen will crack by theif..And, in future when the heat kena the tape, it will left some mark there...

By the way, what you guy talking about? Driving not below 10 reading?

Mine is normal drive, hardly below 15 reading.. If when full throttle, 0 reading..
Black tinted doesn't mean their dunno got what inside de.. My cousin putra all all window 90% dark, windscreen 70% tinted, his car also being broke into.. His RSM put on the glove box being stolen.. Only the rsm on his glove box.. Happen last months... Being hide those thief also know..

aircond off reading 22 means ignition timing abit too advance... do u hear pinging sound under loaded acceleration?? (especially uphill acceleration with aircond switched on).... if yes, try retard ur timing a little... constant detonation can cause premature engine failure....
that day i also play with an alphard on PLUS highway... he tiong and flashlight me when i'm crusing 110kmh.... knn, chase dat fella up to 140kmh before i see my rear view mirror got patrol car coming...

abit is ok... but too loud is no good lor... u can feel the difference after retard the timing... ur mid to high rpm revs are much nicer... ur car pulls a little smoother... but 1 problem, ur initial pickup from standstill sucks...

try get the balance between eliminating the pinging sound and getting a good/reasonable standstill pickup... this requires a certain amount of trial n error tuning...

u retard/advance the ignition timing at ur distributor... loosen (do not remove) the 2 bolts connecting the distributor to the cylinder head... push down (CCW is looking at it from the side from drive's side) to retard, pull up to advance... u will notice ur idle rpm increases as u advance the timing... do not advance too much.... u can alwiz refer to ur vacuum gauge (if u have one) for reference... reference point will be at 20inHg...

thru my experience, vr hard to get good accelerations but yet eliminate pinging for magma engines... but u can alwiz try using v-power fuel (higher octane) + colder heatrange sparkplug... this will reduce detonation/pinging....

I wanna ask you guy something especially LMST owner.. Have you realize the car got 'tak' sound when underpowered time? When mine car not enough power, then it will got the sound 'tak' on the dashboard at the left side, then the car will have power back.. When got the sound 'tak', you will feel the power coming...

actually there is another way of advance/retard ur timing... which in fact is the proper way compare to messing with ur distributor....
this u need adjustable campulley... advance and retard using it....
this is the basics of DVVT, VVTi, CVT, etc. works.... only that we are doing it manually while those technology advance/retards it according to ur driving style...

thats the pinging sound lor... when u pump v-power, does the pinging sound reduces??...
normal one is BP5ES.... try use BP6ES... forced induction engines usually use heatrange 7-9....

But, sometime my air cond not really cold, also got tak.. I only can heard the sound 'tak' when climbing hill... In straight road, dun have de wow..

i think 160km/h is still ok geh.. my lmst only i dare go around 150km/h. i guess u wont redline ur fifth gear rite? u can tune its ecu or replace it if u wan to redline ur fifth gear. but u have to bear in mind new saga suspension is as "good" as ours. so u have to think twice.

22 is fine
he is getting pinging coz he is pressing too hard on low gear
he should shift up to higher gear
many ppl like this on highway
once reach 5th gear they just drive whole way like that
iswara sumtimes not enough power to go up certain steep hills on the highway
so have to switch down to 4th
if just stay in 5th n keep pressing harder n harder (means vacuum reaching zero d) then sure will get the pinging sound
...not to mention the fc will be in the gutter
