actually there is another way of advance/retard ur timing... which in fact is the proper way compare to messing with ur distributor....
this u need adjustable campulley... advance and retard using it.... this is the basics of DVVT, VVTi, CVT, etc. works.... only that we are doing it manually while those technology advance/retards it according to ur driving style...
