QUOTE(dlwl @ Apr 11 2009, 12:32 AM) so far i'm quite happy studying here. Good side is you have a lot of good facilities here, and the stats say that most of uniten students are employed after they graduate. i bet there's some more, i just cant really list all of them down here thx for the info. btw, what type of accomodation is available there? any apartments nearby?others members here should have other stuff to say as for the bad side, err...transport inside uniten, the location of the campus, hostel, internet etc etc. if you're looking for entertainment, there's shopping complexes like alamanda putrajaya and the mines. pretty nice if you dont want to go far. mid valley is also reachable by ktm. |

QUOTE(tineagle @ Apr 13 2009, 02:53 PM) what about your other science subjects? math a1, phy b3, +math c5. yes i'm keeping my fingers crossed although i'm quite pessimistic in this. if i get offered another course i think i won't accept it..I'm currently studying here and I know of people who didn't get offered the engineering foundations due to them getting very low for maths, add maths, chem and physics. These are the three main subjects they look at for engineering foundation. If ur not qualified, they'd probably offer you comp science or IT.. I have friends that got C's and they managed to get in the engineering foundation program, not sure about D's though.. Keep ur fingers crossed Added on April 13, 2009, 2:55 pm accommodation for foundies are in the Amanah apartments, which is a 2 room apartment; 1 room shared by 2 occupants. |

imo, more events means more social bonding and if you participate in them will make you a more colourful person. by judging the posts above, the management seems conservative though.

QUOTE(exentric_nova @ Apr 18 2009, 05:26 PM) of couse. - the collared t-shirts must be tucked in? and any type of shoes will do? no jeans?Monday is formal day, means kemeja with tie, slacks and proper shoes (non-fabric, sports, etc). Other days are smart casual. Collared t-shirt with shoes. ID must always be worn. Some guards will catch you and take your name. Last time I got caught, they send a letter to my home. "Amaran Keras" as it says. But my dad just laugh over it. Going so far just for IDs. One easy way to detect foundies are they will always wear white kemeja, black slack and black shoes. You can actually wear any kemeja you want. No lecturer will stop you. Just make sure you actually do wear one. Some lect won't care if you don't wear tie, but some does. So in early semester, just wear them. Once you see if they don't care, just skip 'em. If you're going to CoIT, have a sweater ready. That place is known for its 'freezer'. Especially if you're going to the labs as those are pretty much the coldest part fo CoIT. Well most of the time anyway. - by any kemeja you mean any color? regarding the slack, only black allowed? thanks for your input. This post has been edited by lycan01: Apr 18 2009, 09:00 PM |

i've been offered with foundation in IT. in the e-mail it says that i'll receive an offer letter soon which i'm yet to receive but when i check my application through the website it says that i need to print the acceptance offer and pay the BMK. so i'm quite confused here. should i wait for the offer letter to arrive first or do what the site told me to?
