1. Freshies will be given a place to stay in the hostel for 1st year, there are shared rooms, 2 to a room, or single rooms.
2. They are apartment units, where 4 persons will stay in 1 unit. 3. The hostels in the campus and are within walking distance to classes, and there are also shuttle buses available. 4. Rents are RM180 per month for the shared room apartment and RM245 for the single room apartment. Not too sure whether they have changed the fee. 5. All depends on you, can pay month by month, or alltogether at one go, or how many months that you want. quite flexible actually. 6. There are 2 food courts, but in my opinion they dont really offer much choice. other facilities like swimming pool etc are available too. 7. Security for the female hostels are ok i guess, i dont frequently visit girls hostels, so i dont really know Hope this can help you Anyone has other stuff to add? |

1. Kinda forgotten the procedure about the apartment already. But they require you to stay in the hostel for the first week of orientation. After that you can decide whether to continue stay in or outisde.
2. Yes, they do have a small kitchen where you can do some light cooking, well the guys apartment have it, so the girls apartment should have 3. Yes there is a gym, there's a mini stadium where you can do your jogging, or you can jog around the campus. Fields are plenty too 4. The distance depends on where your class is and which hostel you are staying. anyhow they are within walking distance This post has been edited by dlwl: Apr 6 2009, 12:36 PM |

The RM500 is sort of like a confirmation that you want to study there, so if you suddenly decide not to go, you wont be able to get back the refund. It's not the full fees, there should be another letter coming to you after you paid your BMK to inform you about the registration detalis.
If you continue studying there the BMK will be deducted from your fees, so it can be considered a small part of your fees. |

1. Many students here, if based on intake, each june intake is about close to 900-1000 students, and there are 3-4 intake batches here, so you do the math
2. Depends on you actually. Sometimes can be both altogether. But most of the time it'll be fun. Meeting new friends, doing some crazy stuff, etc etc. The dull and boring part i guess is when it comes to your assignments |

so far i'm quite happy studying here. Good side is you have a lot of good facilities here, and the stats say that most of uniten students are employed after they graduate. i bet there's some more, i just cant really list all of them down here
others members here should have other stuff to say as for the bad side, err...transport inside uniten, the location of the campus, hostel, internet etc etc. if you're looking for entertainment, there's shopping complexes like alamanda putrajaya and the mines. pretty nice if you dont want to go far. mid valley is also reachable by ktm. |
