Wan to ask, paper P1 , study Kaplan or BPP textbook better ??

I got two books, and lecturer tell study both 

last sitting i studied both .
total was 8 textbook plus 8 revision kits plus 4 lecture notes

BTW, does the OBU degree qualification can be equivalent to local university degree?

You mean from the point of Big 4, OBU degree is not a degree at all??????

this may differ to other opinion... my fwen told me that :
BIG 4:
u only do simple task in ur first year..i.e. bank reconcil.,etc this may occur that big 4 has creditable sufficient existing staff, as a freshie..u have a limited things to learn..
wherelse medium firm, they really,really need u..probably due to shortage of staff..and in certain event..u may do some task that is way out of ur job scope..but not worth as the salary paid less than big 4 i.e. RM2400..for medium around range of 14XX..
but other say that big 4 will really..really make u work..ie..u may heard people say nite camp at the office..

i am intended to leave TARC and go SUNWAY to pursue my ACCA externally.
As i know, i will be exempted F1-F5....
If go Sunway, I may take F6-F9, then P1-P3, and last 2 Papers. ( 1 and Half year)
Really not sure where to go...
Sunway or Continue TARC?
I am DAC student in TARC now... If continue at TARC, i still have merit scholrship.
If go Sunway, there is no scholarship for diploma holder.

how much is ur CGPA, wat u means by merit scholarship..
as i know, scholarship only for CGPA 3.75 and above..

since both also can exempt, y u need to go for a more expensive place...
some more can exempted until F9 in TARC..

really? what i heard from those tarcian are sunway all are from rich family and might spend extravagantly. Is it true? or it is only those students who are not taking ACCA?
My CGPA is 3.8771... deteriorate soon because not perform well last semester.
But still entitled for 50% or 75%..

Does it mean exam paper will be exactly the same, just different countries variants will resulted in different answers since the standard applied vary among countries?

Added on March 30, 2008, 10:17 pmI come to serious about the matter after I heard from a friend that Singapore is not recognized Malaysian ACCA grad as par ACCA affiliates. And Malaysian ACCA grad will only be deemed as Part 2 ACCA level. 

Hence I wanna find out is there any difference to take ACCA at different countries (other than Law and Tax papers).

i am in dilemma now.. want to shift to sunway or not? TARC lecturer better or sunway?
what i know after research is: SUnway better because the students there are very diligent..
Lecturers better as Big4 have close relationship with sunway and do send their employees there for part time studies.

u joined 2 weeks...that mean not yet pay the tuition fee bill yet lo... 100% scholarshipholder, needs to pay annual fees n admin fees also one mah...
i admired ur decision. But, did it any difference if compared to ur friend in TARC?
We are diploma holder in TARC.. though everyone has its own discretion to determine its route to acca.

My parents support whatever decision i made. Go sunway or tarc.... now i want to go sunway, but scare what i hear now is not exactly yes when i studyin there. is sunway better? i want to find a good studying environment which everyone is studying. TARC too bad... Many STPM and SPM failurer and certificate students... CGPA around 2 or belw. no place to go... finally go TARC..
indeed, competitive environment makes perfect. If TARC did not offer merit scholarship, i bet those excellent students will never go, unless those really from poverty or money face.
Everything has good and bad.... just no hv someone to critise it. i bet sunway also has disadvantages.
i know what should i do d... do something difference than other...

be sure to pass tis sitting for reporting papers..P2 student next sitting the whole syllabus guide hv to revised..due to IFRS 3 revised..and affect all accounting standards   which also linked to IAS 1 presentation..
