Last time I checked all machines except MB and MBP mostly has drop in DVD and come with preinstalled Tiger which I hate. So iMac with preinstalled Leopard is good news to me as I'm thinking of having one! smile.gif

I still prefer the dropped in kit.... considering that Leopard still poses lots of problems... now that Leopard is still early into its life cycle, should anything screw up, there's always a prior stable-OS to go back to.... whistling.gif

That is so true but if in the future I wanted to do a clean install, I have to reinstall Tiger then Leopard. It would be so much hassle! But you're totally right, Ethanius.

you can also use the drop-in kit to do a clean installation of Leopard without using the Tiger DVD first....

Oh really? I thought you have to use the Tiger DVD because the drop in is just like an upgrade only. Thanks for the valuable information. You're a rockstar!

Er.. just a question.. Shouldn't all the new Systems come pre installed with a Leopard by now?

Yup, but only those that are recently shipped in. Some shops still hold old stock that's why they include the drop-in DVD of Leopard.

There's a premium reseller - Machines located at Sunway Pyramid.

You can find a MB in other computer shops too e.g. Cycom.
