i want to upgrade from x3i to a higher end one,but not anytime soon,maybe 3months later la..my budget will be around rm400-500,.and my option is im716,um1 or other headphones..which is better?i like the sound signature of x3i..and maybe a better soundstage and a bit more detailed iem/oem/headphone..which one is the best for me around that price range?

If you wish to upgrade... Why dont you try get the highest end one.
UM1 is hard to please everyone as far as I know. You might want to try Shure SCL2, Super.fi.3 or even the new... Some new products coming in and I have to keep secret.

DT440 is one of my recommended product. Same with MS1. Ultimately you will need to tell me which sound you prefer than I will recommend you one.
Another thing is those new secret products are not to be revealed as I promised someone already. Not good to break his trust.

i think i tried both b4,and i think i like the sound signature of the beyer.but it was juz for a lil' moment so i'm still sure..but since u hv the secret,i'll wait for it then..izzit iem or headphone?juz give some hint, it is still not considered as revealing the product right?
