Squier? Damn kid would be happy with a SX!

And he was playing some Blink-182 crap......
The guy had to explain who Laiho was!

Oh god...... I just sat there, picked up the Laiho the kid tested and just started shredding through COB songs and Pentatonic riffs..... I think that was the deal sealer!!!!!!
*
blink-182 crap? Awww..please, do not discriminate genres.

I am interested to know, did the kid buy the ESP? hmm.gif

this guy is no legend

the definition of a legend is someone who can play a 3 note song and knows more than "open" "this one" and "next one"

those notes have names
*
I have saw that before. laugh.gif They should have write out the notes so that it can be easily solve out the problem.

Hate to state the obvious, but look at the brand and model of guitar. Rings a bell, ya infidel? whistling.gif  tongue.gif

He uses his own signature ESP but I wonder why he uses the Gibson on this one.

Man, kids nowadays are really spoiled doh.gif And he's still playing Blink's stuff? If it isn't crap it's seriously outdated man sweat.gif

And Hammett use Gibsons very often i believe, it's in his rig.
*
Awwww..please do not discriminate genres. sweat.gif

I saw Hammett with his ESP most of the time though.

QUOTE(blacktrix @ Dec 21 2007, 01:47 PM)
But anyway, even YOU would agree that a 8k guitar is overkill for a beginner. Heck, I started off with a RM500 piece o' plank and to me, that would be the same as a 10k guitar at that time Cause I suck.

And if you're 10 and you don't earn your own cash, don't you think your parents would KILL if you didn't continue down that line?
*
There is some kids who go for the guitar looks. If they are rich, they will just buy it even though they are a beginner. Sometimes, they love expensive stuff when they are rich without caring about their spending. (not all rich people like that). Also, they have the real desire to be a good guitarist one day so they wanted a good guitar.

Money matters, they love to waste parent's effort. You should like talk to the kid about that Laiho signature, maybe he will listen to you and change his mind.

Still did he buy that guitar anyway?

I didn't care to find out. The scene was enough to make me sick. His father seemed to want to buy it though.......

Urgh. I just get so pissed off sometimes.
*
Maybe that kid did something that his father wants and now his father is buying him that gift.

Have mercy..

QUOTE(RustReaver4D1 @ Dec 21 2007, 02:01 PM)
Aw, c'mon man... it's his dad's money. If his dad is willing to spend that amount of cash for his kid, so be it... Yeah, it'll suck big time if the kid gives up guitar half way or if he trashes the guitar. Chill, man... Live and let live!  thumbup.gif

Saw it on their website the other day lol, looks really cool and much more practical than the older self-tuning systems. thumbup.gif
*
I was guessing that already since no mention it in here. biggrin.gif

Haha, good for playing Slipknot and then switch back to standard tune over and over. brows.gif Most importantly, make sure it did not come out from the case and ask me to play it. sweat.gif

Dude, that robot guitar has been posted here too many times. Let's not post it again, ok?
But it seems like a good idea, but imagine if they had the robot tuner WITH a floyd Rose? My dream come true.
*
Alright, I did not see any of the post in here. Sorry.

There is hope that every Gibson will have that technology.
