Got this mouse from forumer before.. Since it have no more warranty so i plan to mod it. tongue.gif Just LED mod anyway, with some part inside cut also to make the LED fit. If just blue LED it gonna look like Copperhead, so I added white LED more to make it more unique. laugh.gif

Sorry pic a bit blur. Just use my phone cam.

It should not be too difficult to design the circuit, using a clock generator and logic gates. But fitting them into the mouse will be sweat.gif And you'll need a multi channel LED which is pretty expensive (for a LED) and hard to find.

yo ijan....hows the tracking after changing the LED?

is it a little off? or the same? or better?

supposedly red LED is supposed to be the best for the sensor to do the tracking.

i feel the same.. i dont change the sensor LED actually.. i change the side LED and the scroll LED only. 1 blue LED for scroll button, 2 LED for each side (white and blue). White LED is in the middle, thats why it looks like white LED from the tracking sensor. I still can see the default red LED actually.

pmmonkey actually modded a mouse tracking LED to blue, you can search in her threads for her worklog, she only has 1 worklog/casemod thread.
