Apparently VISA Problem in US not only affect WorldCyberGames.
Even the Championship Gaming Series is affected, China Wuhan Dragon unable to attend the CGS Grand Finale.
The CGS Grand finale starts today at the Sony Studio in Los Angeles and it will last for two weeks.

Hell, even the biggest eSports country in Asia (outside Korea) got visa problems. I guess if you to compete easily in US, better apply for Singapore citizenship. They don't need visa to go to US.

That's the main reason CGS asia was held in Malaysia. We're visa friendly.

actually, its more that singapore is a participant of US' visa waiver program. to do that, a country needs to meet some requirements that US set, and i guess somewhere between the lines, it IS because we're not that terrorist unfriendly  for more info, check this link

Chicago chimera still going strong, after they claim region 1 US champion, they are now the CGS World Champion.
