First of all, KGNE wasn't start out as normal anime style (except for hair colors lol). The story itself is more like drama series. Love triangle, emo guy, real life experiences, childhood dreams, etc. Mostly natural stuffs. I do find the anime as unique and it was the first anime I encountered that truly left out most of generic anime styles. Of course I didn't know much about 'emo' stuff back then (that was before you joined LYN, spamming around and made the post counts of Anime Shrine ripped off ).
