Hmm I'm also wondering the same thing. I was just about to purchse this unit today (new Sharp Humidifier+Purifier... RM1299 smallest model at Best and Harvey) What do you guys think... do you think it is worth buying one with humidifier in malaysia? Humidity is important to prevent skin dryness leading to aging... but this might be more relevant in japan (where this thing is popular) rather than here. And as pointed out by dreamer101 ... the humidity may interfere with the ionizing function. Any comments from 'experts'? Also anyone knows where it is cheap to buy this in Klang Valley? Or is this question forbidden here? (sorry noobie here) QUOTE(dreamer101 @ Apr 7 2008, 10:34 AM) Folks, Ionizer works by generating ION and use static electricity to get the dust settled. In Malaysia, due to high humidity, it does not work in most places except enclosed location with air-con on 24/7. So, I failed to see how can you have a ionizer and humidifier working together??
