I think it is assist off problem.

I've just started playing this game myself, and boy, is it impossible with a keyboard. I'm not going to buy a dedicated racing wheel just for this, so I'm wondering if the Xbox 360 gamepad works well. Any thoughts?

Hats off to you then, because I don't understand how to do it. It seems to me that you'd need an analog control, i.e. need to be able to press the accelerator but not floor it all the time, and the keyboard is digital, i.e. either all on or all off.

I floor the accelerator all the time, when driving certain cars. (Note the certain)

Learn to tap the accelerator.
Throttle control is the key to win in this game.

coz your car kena damage already, after you bang something.. you can see the damage on the left side of the speedometer.. Yellow means damaged a lil bit, red means badly damaged.

lolz this is not need 4 speed 4 goodness sake where banging the wall at 200mph still make the car move like nothing is wrong you want 2 bang hard in GRID also must have the limit ma

hi everyone, i have a problem here.. im experiencing micro-stuttering with grid when the frame rate varies.. eg: from 60 to 55.. im using ati 4850 and i had not patch the game to v1.2. will patching it solve the problem?

btw, i did not experience micro-stuttering in far cry 2 eventhough the fps varies from 30+ to 40+

why dont u try patch it to 1.2 and see what happen...

some people at codies forum said v1.1 is the worse... and v1.2 mostly got fixed..

oh btw what version did u use now? still v1.0 or 1.1?

before this GRID.exe[No DVD] for v1.2 cant play drift event .... i have run the game with the original dvd on drive and it will let u play drift event

so just patch it and running the game with dvd and u good to go...

do u guys know that if u are using the 'johnny depp' version of the game u can still go online.

i already done it and currently racing against some none english speaking Russian.

Xbox 360 controller works like a dream. No need to setup. Grid was designed for consoles in the first place.
