hmm... sorry for being lazy if this topic was discussed before.

but

does any of you ever make your own dart flights? mind to share some experience?
or is there a suitable reason why must a person buy specially printed/stamped flights?

knowing that my dart flights started to tear itself due to clumsy aiming so I figure out it would be best if I can make my own flights before actually buying them.

Not a bias reply (since i'm a reseller) but no one i know since i involved in darts in 2003 makes their own flights. Flights off the shelves are so cheap that i dun think it is worth it for the trouble to make your own. Customised flights with names watsoever are for personalisation. I do have my own team flights imprinted with my team names but as flights are a given wear & tear, one cant avoid frm it being damaged. Take note steel tip dart have higher flight damage rate due to sharp steel point compared to soft tip. It also depends how good you are. Better you are in grouping your darts, higher the wear and tear unless u throw each dart far from each other e.g. One at 20, one at 19, one at 18

true stuff judging by how cheap one can buy flights.

but it was told that the past 80's they used paper flights and was famous.
hmm... hmm.gif

is it just me or dart is really all about preference?

I was playing with my decent priced darts and I got my normal average points

so far so good. no regrets

but then I found some cheapo RM2 full sized darts with standard steel tip, cheapo lightweight low quality metal barrel, plastic shaft and some common flights...

"it flies more accurate LOL"

so I just wanna confirm.
Is price really doesn't matter at all?
I was saving up for some tungsten barrel because I loved heavy darts but then I guess cheapo darts do fly better sometimes haha

these are my initial darts that I used actually

common nickel steel barrel darts with aluminum shaft from an unknown company (dart weight 21g)
I've fixed the steel tip already

and I doubt the cheap RM2 darts are made of brass. It looked/feels like tin metal coated in gold paint or something.

but then it feels so great to fly it lol laugh.gif

Hi, power.

May I know where did you buy the RM2 cheap darts?
I know this post was quite long... wondering you could remember the shop name, you bought from? ><
Thank you. biggrin.gif

I bought it in Fun 'N' Cheer stores

you can find this store around Selangor/Kuala Lumpur areas

I got mine from Bukit Kemuning Fun N Cheer

either way you can get this in sports section in Aeon supermarkets for RM5

but do remember the tail tends to break easily so yea sweat.gif
