Problem details
The modem when off, no power,
I check, no burning smell neither from the modem or power socket.

I turn off, unplug the power, wait for 15 minute, plug in back but same result

Can I ask for replacement from Streamyx?

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Stop at Step 4 (create dialler, CD installation )
Problem frequency: until yesterday night
Problem description:
I send SMS and my streamyx has been activated.
Use the CD installation and it stop at Step 4 ( Error, forgot what the CODE error but it start with SEXXXX).
Already try the phone cable from the wall to modem, also same problem. All LED light is on (not blinking) except DATA led.
Its already 3 day.

Or did i miss anything?

P/S: im in office now, so i guess i need to collect all suggestion and try it at home.

Will try later manually, create connection from Network Connections, Techie at my ofis remind me to add @streamyx after my user login

U using wat OS & wat model for your modem? Why need cd installation?

I think the TS try to create the manual dialler for manual connection (bridge mode)...

Like jtcs87 said...tell us your OS / modem type...?

ps-AFAIK TM free modem brands either Billion or Riger...?

using WinXP
modem -> RIGER

I bypass the CD installaton.
manually create it.

now i a happy streamyx user.
