Bro, Most likely is due to overheating. A Q6600 at 71C is hot. Mine is running at 62C-63C using Xigmatek cooler. I am using Asus P5K and Vcore set to Auto. So far rock solid with 4cores running Folding@Home. Here's my screenshots:

Bro, a word of advise. I've seen your stock temperature and it hits 69C. I suspect you did not mount your CPU cooler tightly. Although you feel that it is securedly fasten but the fact is it's not. You need to hear the 4 pin snap in position. What casing are you using btw?

Xigmatek S963 has a 92mm fan that spins at 2800RPM (Need to allow the fan to spin at full speed @3.0Ghz) Casing wise, it has 2 12cm fan blowing from top and back.
