hi to all guitar freaks...

just to pop up a question that i've been curious about and trying to apply for quite some time...

can we actually modify an acoustic guitar to a semi acoustic? like maybe add a pickup to the acoustic or something like that?

if can, how to? any tips to do that?

in advance.. i thank you..

i'm not sure about the drilling and adding electronics inside, but i know you can buy a special pickup that fits snugly in the hole. Problem is you have to remove it when you're not playing. Check musiciansfriend or something. I completely forgot the brand/whatever it is. I just know a friend has one.

Yes. But you'll have to do alot of routing work.
You can take it to guitar collection for an opinion and they have quite a few fishman acoustic pickups there.
