If your friend has financial difficulties in A Level, what makes him think he will not have financial difficulties in future private university degree course? IMO, he should forget about A Level and do STPM instead. Then go aim for dirt cheap public universities. In life, one should learn to live within their means. Otherwise, we will all be demanding all sorts of thing.
