Hey guys, got a question about the bus transport..

I have a break between 10am - 12pm tomorrow (but class usually finishes abit earlier, around 9:30).

Do you guys think I have time to take a bus (which bus do I take and where do I wait? I always see the blue/grey bus stopping outside KPD, is it that?) to bangsar shopping complex and maybe have brunch there and then take the bus back?

Just wondering how dependable the bus is sweat.gif
Rarely take public transport! tongue.gif

Har ? i was in Main block during my foundation years and now in KPD. I prefer main block more lo.. if i were given a choice i rather to have my classes in main block. i like there alot.
*
Well I guess it depends on your preference tongue.gif I have to admit, taking the bus everyday from main block to KPD for my lessons is quite tiresome. Sometimes I have to take the bus back to main block during our breaks too because there's more choice for food there tongue.gif I guess you guys don't have to walk around much either sweat.gif

how is d lecturers n students thr? do u thk HELP is better than UCSI 4A level?
aft A level whr u wil go 2study? oversea? A level hard o not? easier then stpm? but d duration also like stpm rite? if i tk july intake then when i wil finished my A lvl? nid 2tk english test like muet?

act i wan2  be a pharmacy...i dun wan study STPM so i choose A level lo...if get scholarship then sure wil go oversea,if not then study at private uni lo,also nid a lot $$$ rite?haiz, pls give me some advise... notworthy.gif
thx... wink.gif

Well personally I think the teachers are great tongue.gif Not sure about comparison between HELP/UCSI though..

After my A-Levels hopefully I will be able to study in UK if I get an offer for Medicine smile.gif So far it doesn't seem too hard, the first two modules of Maths are almost all Add Maths stuff tongue.gif My other subjects - Chem, Bio and Physics are okay too I suppose smile.gif Don't know if it's easier than STPM but to me I think the way exams are carried out it should be better since we have our exams every 6 months or so. Once we sit for an exam we no longer have to revise those topics (unless of course you want to resit for that paper).

The duration of the entire A-Levels is about 18 months if you go for January/July intake. I guess if you start here in July then you will finish some time at the end of 2010/early 2011.

Just so you know, you also get a partial scholarship for A-Levels based on your SPM results smile.gif (Min. 7 A1 excluding 1119/EST). If you have a sibling that went to HELP before you also get a 10% discount.

I'm not too sure about scholarships for uni though.. maybe someone else knows blush.gif

thx 4yr in4mation...  smile.gif

u start yr A level on march tis year? erm,v nid 2 sit 4any english test like muet?everyday also got class?how mny hours per class?

isnt edexcel A level recognise by other country?
*
Nope, I started in Jan tongue.gif

I think you only need to sit for the english tests when applying for Uni.

I have classes everyday, each class is about 2 hours long but usually our lecturers give us a break before/after the lesson so about 1 and a half hours on average smile.gif

Currently my time table if you're curious (for 4 subjects) is like this:-

Monday 8-10, 12-4
Tuesday 8-10, 12-2
Wednesday 12-4
Thursday 8-2
Friday 8-12

During our long breaks we usually hang out at one of the restaurants or if we have tests coming up we go to the library to study tongue.gif

However, the compulsory LAN subjects that you have to do (Moral studies and malaysian studies) take quite alot of your time - once a week for each subject, 4pm to 7pm. I suggest you take both of the subjects during your first semester because that's when your subjects are still relatively easy smile.gif Make sure you pass or they'll make you resit next semester tongue.gif

Sign up for your LAN subjects early too, because the spots are limited.

Yes, Edexcel A-Levels are recognised world-wide biggrin.gif

Agree with cherried.. Further Maths is not an easy subject, especially with 4 other subjects :/

If you're still not sure, then yes I would suggest you to drop Bio as not all Unis require it for Medicine.
