help's management is really horrific and terrible....inefficient and slow management system... doh.gif
help should really consider re-evaluating their staffs performance and their attitude towards students..
note: i am not talking about lecturers..just the management staff..from the finance dept to the help desk and even the receptionist!...rude n unfriendly management staff...no respect for students at all... doh.gif
i mean how can u management guys get angry and confront an unhappy student in a negative way when he complains and says something bad but true about the way u do stuff when u should be apologizing and improving the way u work?! try not to deny it whn we know every incident of this turns out the same way...its just plain barbaric guys doh.gif please do something about it..at least admit and say sorry..come on students r the ones financing yur salary..put it in another way they r the bosses...should u treat yur boss in this way elsewhr, he will gv a smack on yur head... doh.gif
parking sucks... doh.gif

the only thing worth goin thr is its quality in the education side, the structure of d degree programmes and having a wide scope of partner universities..thts all.

Me!! rclxms.gif

Gives you plenty of flexibility when u start working as u can be in the finance sector or become an accountant brows.gif

The thing is that you can decide what to major in (finance, acc, marketing or finance+acc) during your first year and then 2nd and 3rd year you'll be specializing in what u chose as your major

I'm in for the October intake...what about you? smile.gif

lol those are subject names ^^".
You should be more specific on the book your looking.Name,Author,Publisher,Edition etc.
*
I haven't enrolled in yet.The brochure i got only stated the subject names for year 1-3.Didn't all the previous business students study the same books? mellow.gif I'm sure the other business students will definitely have these books before biggrin.gif

I remember seeing one of the books before in Popular hmm.gif

I sold off all already, only have Leadership and Life Skills, Business communication and Year 2 marketing books, lol
Anyway, considering you haven't enrolled/registered, I suggest don't buy your books yet.

Why?

1 long semester = 4 subjects
1 short semester = 2 subjects

The lecturer can decide to change textbooks/ swtich to a new edition so better you just wait until you've registered for the subjects.
*
Hi!Thanks for the info smile.gif

I'm still quite new to the "uni system". So don't mind answering a few questions of mine icon_rolleyes.gif

1) How does the "registration of subjects" work? I can register any subject before a particular semester?
2) Are there exact dates for long or short semesters?
3) How long is a long/short semester?

Thanks biggrin.gif

Why u don't want choose the gvrnment university??

blink.gif

Where did this come from? hmm.gif

I have my own reasons, one of that the flexibility of choosing my own course and the other is studying my last year abroad.

How about you?

Sometime the lecturer's notes could be referring to certain textbooks.

It doesn't really matter if you get these books or not but sometimes just for ease.
*
True also. But the reason why i'm looking out for these books is that i'm a pure science STPM student with totally no knowledge on Economics and Accountancy.

Would definitely be much easier if i can get the books which will be taught, as i can look through it first and perhaps learn one or two in advance.Would definitely try to avoid "getting lost" with all the new stuffs i have to learn.Guess most of the terms and concepts are "kacang" for other art students sad.gif

wanna ask, nw im registered 2 take degree for business course under help for 3 yrs duration, bt let say if ltr on i wanna  do credit transfer for my 3rd yr study, is it possible?? cuz now im nt sure whether i will cntinue my degree in help o do credit transfer..
*
You can decide to either do a credit transfer or do the remaining years in HELP during your 2nd year iinm (if for 2+1)

Like for my case, i'm going for a 2+1 Bachelor Of Commerce, 2 years in HELP, last year in University of Queensland.

But i can still decide otherwise during my 2nd year if i want to change to another university that is if it's 2+1 smile.gif

Give HELP uni a call, will ya smile.gif
