I have decided to remove the floating pickguard from my Les Paul copy because I think it gets in the way of my playing, and they don't look so nice (to me anyway). Problem is after I remove them the drill holes will be very visible..

Question: Is there any way to fix the holes, especially the one at the top (I am not so concerned with the one at the side because it is usually not visible)? Will there be any problems if I let them open?

Please help.

just screw the screws into the hole lo =/

you don't lose the screws and it covers the hole

its a very very easy fix, if you know how tongue.gif

just use superglue and sawdust and fill the hole til almost the top.
just superglue is enough also anyway.
then drop some nail polish in, then just wet sand til happy.

the hardest part is trying to match the color of the body.
for sunbursts, usually the side is brownish and top is reddish, which sux.
easier if you have solid black or white.
