You sure about that? The cheapest I asked in msia was around RM420 which I think is a lil overpriced too. During the promotion period, some managed to get it at Rm299 without body purchase. I bought mine over here for around RM500, a lil more expensive but i've no choice right now. |

Since you're using 400D, ultra II would be sufficient enough. Your camera won't be able to fully utilize the speed of an extreme IV card. Shooting at 3.5fps wont need a high speed card. |

YL camera in pudu plazza. Look for desmond. Nice chap to chat with. But you'll have to go when he's not busy. haha...
@myjunk I've a friend over here which has the 70-300 IS, IMHO it's not that wonderful compared to a 70-200 f/4 L. And does a 70-200 f/4 L cost Rm5k? It should cost less than that iinm. |

A piece of advice, never buy photography gears using CC. Use case all the time if possible. That means you're spending what you have not spending what you don't have. |

If it's that case then it's ok. For those who plan to pay in installments I dont think it's a good idea. Just my 2 cents though. |

QUOTE(sacrosanct @ Jan 6 2008, 07:12 PM) The 70-200mm f/4L lens is around 6k in Canon Concept Stores and even if you obtain it from other shops it might be cheaper only to a few notch say 5k+-; the prices for lens do not drop that fast for Canon. As far as I'm concern the price quoted by canon concept stores are higher than other shops by approx 30% |

The answer to your question is pretty easy. It depends on your budget. And what you really need. With the price diff of 1k, add in a little bit you can get a 50mm prime and the new EF-S 55-200 IS. It's your call. |

The last time I bought my 50mm, I had to preorder it.. Maybe with so many of u wanting to buy, the shop would probably have to preorder it. |
