here's my share of kit lens ![]() ![]() ![]() this shots faked on some elements though ![]() Added on December 2, 2007, 3:17 ambtw, guys i found this lens calculator. Just go and see how's the focal factor on your camera, just remember what crop factor your camera is then apply the lens on it. http://www.sweeting.org/mark/lenses/ I found out that the 17-40L's 100+ angle of view only works on the full frame =/ makes me think twice whether i shud get it or not, because im a wide angle freak This post has been edited by R a D ! c 4 L: Dec 2 2007, 03:17 AM |

No need to put lens list la, just put the lens that you use the most can liao lor
guys, dont bother buy new body of the 350D. I got mine as a 2nd hand. With 7 months warranty left and 4k plus shutter only, added with extra original battery and BG-E3 battery grip, just for 2k. Go scout around. just my two cents. |

QUOTE(fcbarcelona-my @ Dec 4 2007, 04:55 PM) if i snap a pic..and transfer it to my lappy..the format is JPEG..not RAW. how to setting? or its depend on the Mode we use? (eg. basic mode or advanced mode) Then just use photoshop to do the editing and setting QUOTE(spid3rx @ Dec 4 2007, 06:06 PM) Yes, to me the colour for red and orange is warm. anyone experience tat ? for jpeg. for jpeg it is like that, if im not wrong its the AWB's characteristic. And the center weight metering and the side focusing? anyone tried before? is the focusing much better ? I use evaluative and center weight most of the time. Center weight for landscape shots as i wan to get a reading from the ground and then apply my filter. For evaluative i use it when the light is subtle. |

the 50mm f1.8, like most of the comments, its best for a portrait lens. Couple with a Raynox DCR-250, Macro-Scan 2.5x Super Macro Conversion Lens, it can be a superb lens for macro photography, and the thing cost only 250
nice combination huh? Its also good for landscapes and others, the fixed focal factor helps you train your compositional skills. Get creative! |

QUOTE(fcbarcelona-my @ Dec 5 2007, 05:25 PM) izzit ok if we combine 50mm lens + macro filter to get at least 1/2 than what macro lens can do? coz i'm till out of budget to grat macro lens. and for lanscaping...are 50mm good enough? coz i'm oso interested with lanscape snapshot. can but you wont get the magnification of the raynox lor IMO, The 50mm is good for everything, its really up to you on how you use it And btw, i just went to sg wang to get myself the RS-60E3 Remote Control for my rebel, now long exposures are not a problem d the remote cost me RM90. Bought it at Bo Eing. |

I got mine for 300 |

^its Raynox DCR-250 Macro-Scan 2.5x Super Macro Conversion Lens. Its the whole thing, 250 if im not mistaken. But i do not know a place that sells them =/ you have to buy the 50mm f1.8 seperately of course.

The rebel can perform in long exposures too man, here's a simple experiment, the night sky was glowing with the light of the moon so its a good opportunity for such experiment. Did a tweak in the white balance to get the sky blue enough too, with minimal noise reduction in Lightroom. Results are of below
