QUOTE(fcbarcelona-my @ Dec 5 2007, 12:52 PM) thanx [ - i l l u s i o n s - ] . nice photo with 50mm lens. actually...what are the main purpose of this lens? coz some says that this lens essential for any canon dslr body coz it cheap..but have a great function. looking at the pic posted by [ - i l l u s i o n s - ], is it can use for macro lens? As for me, I don't think it can be used for macro as its miniumum focusing range is 0.45m. My kitlens is at 0.28m or so if I'm not mistaken. As the others have posted, you could purchase some add-ons to have it work on macro I suppose. And yes, kevin613, its RM270-280 nowadays although I got mine for RM 290 because the other shops were out of stock. This post has been edited by [ - i l l u s i o n s - ]: Dec 5 2007, 04:33 PM |

When exactly is the comic fiesta?
ysyeo, the minimum shutter speed depends on what you are shooting and how steady your hands are. The 1/60 shutter speed is just a suggestion from Canon. With IS lenses you can even take sharp pictures at 1/10. This post has been edited by [ - i l l u s i o n s - ]: Dec 10 2007, 10:18 AM |

Let's say I'm at 300mm, then the shutter speed should be at 1/300?

QUOTE(kevin613 @ Dec 11 2007, 07:13 PM) for the record, i'm still a student too, but not so after next week.. hahaha.. You got a point there =)anyway, u can choose to start with the cheaper narrow aperture lenses 1st, and upgrade slowly instead of grabbing the best.. u'll need to hone your skills before u became owners of those 1st class equipment.. equipments without skills would produce crap.. I think I might consider it after all.. Right now I just need to save money And I have to ask a question, How much is the canon 55-200 mm lens? I saw it previously in a shop nearby, it was at RM 1k ++ And the 55-250mm is less than RM 1k? |
