QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Dec 30 2007, 12:27 AM) Good question, I have no idea and does anyone has any idea should I get this lens or not? izzit the new ef-s lens ? that one is 55-250mm, the review for it was pretty good, but the price should be around 800-900 i think, there's an ef lens at 55-200mm thoughTarita said the price was RM490+ something but the other shop told me the II, it should be different and they are selling it at RM880, more than that I suppose. |

QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Dec 31 2007, 02:42 PM) very true QUOTE(myjunk @ Dec 31 2007, 02:43 PM) I first saw this lens in S'pore just last week. I didn't know canon came out with this lens and also at such a price. (it was selling for S$600+ and then I found out from LYN that m'sia selling it for <RM900) At this price range, it's a real steal man.. compared to the70-300 IS USM which I was aiming to get initially. how much is the 70-300 IS USM anyway, from the review I read the 55-250 AF not good with 350D, not sure how izzit with the 400D thoughBut now that I seen this 55-250 IS (NO usm too bad.. USM, if not mistaken make t he focusing VERY fast right????) and the price also Cun, I think change target lah.. If the 70-300IS USM is a Hidden L lens, Do you guys suppose the 55-250 is also one?? BTW, Put me on the list too. 400D + Kit Lens + 50mm f1.8 II (RM350+UV filter, con job filter price @RM60 Raydawn by Foto Edar.. Stupid!!! Stupid!! Next Aim : Canon 55-250 IS (OR?) Canon 70-300 IS USM (hidden L Lense) I also want to join the TT session so that I can learn more and also play with your "barang" |

QUOTE(fcbarcelona-my @ Dec 31 2007, 03:29 PM) ops. sorry. yeah. its around rm2k. sorry fellas, i'm thinking 75-300 USM (non-IS). now i'm 'deep thinking' of sigma 18-200 OS. my group got zuhrie, raptorclan, shim and one indian guy, I didn't catch his name. i think our sifu will be zuhrie, he gave us some tips on street shot, and the guy really can go approach ppl, chat with them before he take the photos Added on December 31, 2007, 3:33 pm hehe. almost my pics are *^*&^&%! QUOTE(fcbarcelona-my @ Dec 31 2007, 04:32 PM) check our previous pages. yeah they all using short lens, zuhrie only a 24mm i think, so must get close and personal. the only one i really approach was the taufu fa seller, but that's cost i want to eat taufu fa hahah. really a good experience, but still need to work on compositionzuhrie..a guy wearing white shirt? . indian guy..seems the onli indian in this street photo outing. yeah..maxby oso said the same thing. i'm never realize bout it. me and group of noob just walking and shoot everything..but shy-shy to talk with ppl. just snap from long range. no wonder sifoos like maxby just bring his PnS camera. |

QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Dec 31 2007, 05:18 PM) Typo, it should be 10-22mm. For me, I rather invest more in lens rather than getting a good body. Good lens make hugeeee difference. this get my vote hehe, QUOTE(myjunk @ Dec 31 2007, 05:18 PM) Wah.. your bonus so much one ah? Can get such an expensive lens i guess it depends on how and what you want to shot, most of those that use short lens, get up close and personal and I really like the way they compose the shot but if you really want to do candid without anyone noticing you then no choice but to go telephotocan you tell me why?? I also wondering. if the reasoning is good, then maybe no need to buy 55-250 IS.. for those candid and 'you don't know I shooting you' shot. I also shy-shy. QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Dec 31 2007, 05:29 PM) tested it and it's extremely poisonous, sharp and bokeh is nice |

the only possible way to check is based on the images that you shoot, if you use continuous numbering, the numbering on your last image shot should be your shutter count.
shooting without card is also counted as well and inserting a CF card from another camera will screw up your count like what happen to me haha but for more accurate go to canon service center |
