Good question, I have no idea and does anyone has any idea should I get this lens or not?
Tarita said the price was RM490+ something but the other shop told me the II, it should be different and they are selling it at RM880, more than that I suppose.

just going back from photomalaysia street shoot. got poisoned by 70-200mm IS. 

btw..how much the price of 10-22mm? need sumting wide lor...

i oso kena poison dgn nikonians while street shoot. D200..D300...and several lens. belum lagi pentax..olympus. so mane poison. 
hehe. very careful when held this lens. don't ever dropped it. handle with care.    i oso try to search if anybody use 55-250 IS..but no one there used it. 

Get it, and later on dump it for f2.8

I first saw this lens in S'pore just last week. I didn't know canon came out with this lens and also at such a price. (it was selling for S$600+ and then I found out from LYN that m'sia selling it for <RM900) At this price range, it's a real steal man.. compared to the70-300 IS USM which I was aiming to get initially.

But now that I seen this 55-250 IS (NO usm too bad.. USM, if not mistaken make t he focusing VERY fast right????) and the price also Cun, I think change target lah..

If the 70-300IS USM is a Hidden L lens, Do you guys suppose the 55-250 is also one??
BTW, Put me on the list too.

around rm800 sumting. at bintang maju ,mines shopping complex..its around rm850. if i not mistaken.
55-250 ...i till review bout this lenses. 

70-300 IS USM should be around RM2200-2300+\-

ops. sorry. yeah. its around rm2k. sorry fellas, i'm thinking 75-300 USM (non-IS). now i'm 'deep thinking' of sigma 18-200 OS.

zuhrie..a guy wearing white shirt? . indian guy..seems the onli indian in this street photo outing. yeah..maxby oso said the same thing. i'm never realize bout it. me and group of noob just walking and shoot everything..but shy-shy to talk with ppl. just snap from long range. no wonder sifoos like maxby just bring his PnS camera. 

Typo, it should be 10-22mm. For me, I rather invest more in lens rather than getting a good body. Good lens make hugeeee difference.

You'll never say enough when you actually tested lens like C70-200mm f2.8 L.

i wish they make a 70-300mm F2.8 L   

my desire make me more trouble now, after saw those 10-20mm shoot hai...dunno choose the tamron 17-50mm la 2 the canon 10-20mm haha

but yeah 70-200mm f2.8 is like the bomb.

That will set you back ~700 - 800 depending on how well you know to bargain or 2nd hand unit.

But I'm liking mine immensively. (Just got it like < 3 weeks ago)

Consider a good lens within the price you pay..... Photo Taken without Speedlite.

No Crop, just resize the photo..... The ISO is 400 and the price i paid for the lens is rm870.

i just bought a Canon 400D before new year. A lot of function on the camera  and i only knew how to use the automatic features

Agree, few more months and I'm gonna take the photography as a subject for my course, if I manage to pass the following trimester~

I use auto reset, so the only choice is to go Canon. Darn it.
Anyone have this problem? You know the LED for the focus in the viewfinder? the red ones? Mine is fading away, well actually its smudged up.
