hey neosan since u r a misb collector do u tends to take out all the battery from the figures? i have a few misb with battery inside & i was thinking to take out the battery to avoid leakage.
it's dangerous to keep the battery inside since we are going to keep it for sometime. |

yes MISB can fetch higher price everybody know but what if 10-20 years later buyer wanted to know if the electrical parts still functioning or not then it'll be a gamble here. if batt. taken out no matter how long or where we keep it we can still safely say it is 100% working. that's my objective & as u say sometime i also 'malas' to carefully open it, take out & pack it back nicely there's a challenge here. 'pening kepala' my heart wanted me to take it out but my mind is lazy to do it.
QUOTE(neosan2806 @ Dec 4 2007, 05:04 PM) Nope i don take out the batteries neosan don't be too confident i've taken all the batteries out from my MP series, there's once when i take the battery out from MP-02 i noticed some sulfur building up inside the battery compartment, that's what makes me worried of the rest. Dun worry as far as i now most of the toys are using button cells battery which is lithium type. This post has been edited by quintesson: Dec 4 2007, 06:10 PM |

QUOTE(noisetrigger @ Dec 6 2007, 01:32 AM) I ordered from Edison since October for RM150 and until now he still haven't delivered me the stuff and it has been sitting in his house for THREE WEEKS!!! i ordered from him before MP-05 after reading good comments for him from the forumers. then 1 time after another he play 'tai chi' with me stating that new stocks coming when the time come he said 2nd batch will be out soon with a better QC well i trusted him & say ok i'll wait again until he told me the price has been jack up. wtf i waited few months for nothing & i demanded the deposit to be refund & that's it no more next time. Managed to get him to COD and he FFK THREE TIMES NOW!!! Never picks up the phone, say will COD at this time but never did keep a single appointment and when you finally manage to call him, you can tell he isn't taking your very seriously and kinda brush it off and then arranging a different COD time which he will FFK again. He say he will post it tomorrow. If he doesn't, I am reporting him to the dispute center and I am sure a lot of people will do the same since lots of other people are facing the problem as me. He used to be reliable and popular but now? WTF? Hence I bought from TW when I saw BB08. I hold very little hope of actually receiving the item from Edison now. Just hope he has the decency to give me back my money. |
