@ah_chak, I'm not 100% sure, but I know a lot of people dont like the play n charge kit, takes too long to charge compared to the docking one and some other misc problems.
FYI some battery are small in size even though its AA size. Depends on brand i found that energizer and duracel fits batter in the compartment.
