First Impressions: Drift mode, cockpit view is awesome, just feels right, smoke effects are cool, sound effects are great, sensation of speed.. spot on, and I dunno, it just feels so polished. Must buy game. Bullet time replay is cool too!

Ok proper quick impression now
Graphics Nothing more to say, this easily the best looking racer ever on the 360. I dare to say its better then PGR4. The amount of details on the cars and tracks are staggering. The game is locked at 30fps but with proper use of motion blur, it feels as smooth as 60fps (atleast for me). Like in dirt, the menu and loading screen are nicely done. Sound Another impressive part of this game. Can hear every sound your car make when you hit a bump and such. Good use of music in replay aswell Gameplay Well its an arcade racer so dont expect anything like Forza2. The track racing feels solid to me, just not sure about the drifting though (or maybe i should need more practice ). Another nice added feature is the Prince of Persia Sands of Time kinda mode where you can turn back time from a specific period. Its pretty cool and handy  That said, this game will definately get me monies next month  |
