hye guys..

I'm going to buy CF Card, is the speed [Ultra 2, Extreme III , Extreme IV] are important to high speed shooting aka burst mode? or it is use when need to transfer the file from card to pc? I saw the price for Sandisk Extreme IV 4.0 GB was only RM230.. is that true? rclxub.gif

wow..if that is the real price, then its very2 cheap! u can even buy a whole lot of em and sell it here and still make some profit from it.. biggrin.gif just fyi, even lelong.com.my selling it for RM3++..

but have to make sure the price is real since there are statements in the web:

and also to make sure the product is genuine sandisk.. nowadays we can easily find a fake sandisk card for EXTREMEly cheap price.. be careful tho.. wink.gif
Tell u what, i think u shud try and contact them, if its genuine then buy it and inform us here.. (or better still, buy them and sell em back here..hehe.. )..

oh ya, abt the speed of the card, it does matter if u're in a hurry.. as for me, am using 350&400d and for burst mode of 3fps.. ultra II will do just fine for me. usually i'll do short burst for 3 secs., which equivalent to 9 shots, and only need to wait for abt a second or so for the card to write ( sometimes its even instantaneous)... but if ure using 1d then that's another story.. but the speed sure will help when transferring the file tho. and if the extreme 4 really that cheap and genuine, better just go for it tho.. wink.gif

kord is right.... if you're using slower body, then no need fast card...

I bought 8GB extreme 4... faster using 40d at 6.5fps.... I think can
fully utilized 1dmk3 10fps.... (I wish I have this body....)
