Ok, what's the best ISP to play WoW?

I am using streamyx currently (thinking of changing) and i am getting around 210ms ping to the server but lately, the ping is around 300ms for some stupid streamyx issues. That means on 210ms, i get around 600ms and at 300ms ping, i get a latency of 800ms or so.

What are u guys using for WoW? Izzit? AirZed?

wtf how did you get 300ms with streamyx? By the way, there are not a lot of ISPs available for consumers in Malaysia.

Try lowerping.com instead

The blues themselves say that 300 ms is the typical ping for connections outside of the USA.

They forgot to mention that in order to achieve that, you'll have to log into the game off-peak hours and quest in a starting zone.

If u're in Azeroth, the lag isn't so bad as when you get into Outlands.

Hopefully by the time you get to Outlands, the conneciton would have improved.

Although, I'm having problems with my card I think. 400 ms latency and FPS drop to 2-3 FPS during raids. Sigh.

200ms is .. near impossible to get.
Screenshot or it didn't happen! tongue.gif

At any rate guys you don't need 3 mbps or 10 mbps to get a good playing experience. What you guys are looking for is a low-latency response time - mainly between your ISP and the WoW servers. Now with WoW the best I have ever seen is around 400ms-600ms - on a bad day it can go up to 800ms-1200ms.

Since the WoW servers are in the US, it's very unlikely you'll ever get anything sub 200ms as the geographical distance itself is a limiting factor for the electrical/optical communication equipment. smile.gif

ROFL i thought i had the worst rofl.

Here is a ping to the logon server (i forget what the name was but i remembered the ip 12.129.192.54).

Usually the latency in game is twice+a bit to the ping.
