your shooting really pro ,...unfortunely,my shooting really poor and i lazy to take out my collection and take a pic on it.perhaps becos i dun like to take them out from the box as i'm abit worry of damage any parts of the car.if there's any small scratch on the car...maybe i will  for few days..  |

this year favourtie goes to 66:66, coz purchased from this year...
 bout shooting, lighting and lens focus is the main part for good pic... and practice makes perfect... got time try try le... btw, keep in the box oso free of dust le... unless u have time then can clean clean a bit here and there le... eh, collecting this diecast oso can train us to be gentle mah... i think tats how GENTLEMEN is from... |

i still hoping for heikki renault lor... and see if have chance to get minichamps models onot... im still searching for button honda preferably 2006 version or this year one oso can n still looking for a jordan model... bout the limited editions for both kimi and lewis, i think the normal edition should be ok for me le... maybe juz wait for next season to come le...

wow...nice car there.but i personally feel tat MP4-21 paint work much better (Overall) compare with MP4-22 except without the Johnny wallker livery.otherwise..it's perfect.
for MP4-22,the only part tat i like about this car is the VODAFONE livery (side view) |

Mclaren: yea... but for hotwheels quality, the mp4-22 seems to be much shinier and relfective compared to mp4-21, after watching the mp4-22, the mp4-21 suddenly looks kinda silverish oredi...

recently,there's a seller at ebay wan to let go his Kimi MP4-19 for 39USD.but the shipping cost around 27USD and end up the model cost around RM220......but again...no $$$

nice acquisition for the mp4-18 there mclaren and nice one for amanda, btw, how bout the missing side mirrors? do they include tat missing side mirror so u can stick back to the car???anyway, i've been off for bout 2 weeks for holiday and diecast shopping at the same time... unfortunately i only managed to get one f1 model coz others are out of my budget... glad to see u guys here! a new year for a new experience of f1 collection... enjoy guys cheers! Added on January 3, 2008, 10:20 pmoh btw, i do spot a raikkonen in one utama and SOME in jusco bts... its very very very hard to find a kimi f2007 in KL oredi ya... and oso, those who missed the alonso mp4-22, toy quest 2 in bb or grafitti toys in bts should have some available... the price will be kinda high compared to those sell in parkson or jusco... i think so far jusco in one utama is the best for diecasting! Mclaren: yup... there were more than 20 boxes of limited edition of schumacher and alonso put on top of the shop there... theres oso one M.Schumacher Anatomy of a Champion on the display, which is very special one... the car half is normal paint half is carbon fibre... and the display is a standing display which save up quite a space in the cabinet... i think tat one sure cost a bomb...

safety car i was able to spot one in jusco one utama, which was earlier this month... dono now still got onot le...

Sigh, supposed to be saving up but I saw this and couldn't resist.
  The last time in Singapore sis too busy to drive me to F1 Motorsports.  A choice between Kimi/Nico/Nando  Look at my signature and it shall be clear. By the way I saw an old Nico Rosberg Williams model selling for RM119, tempted to take it. By the way McLaren thanks for the previous Renault offer but I saw this at the shelf today and gosh! Just grab it. |

if really cant find in those hobby shops... for the BMW Sauber, y don try the BMW dealers for enquiries? besides some merchandise sold, they may as well sell diecast models... try ur luck!

yea....dust are juz everywhere....cant do anything much on it.....
unless u have da fully sealed rack or keep inside da diecast original box....will minimize dust gettin in... btw, da F1 diecast i juz cleaned right b4 chinese new year....after almost two week alredi dusty liao..... |

yea dust is unavoidable... i clean it whenever i see dust on the models... but if u have glass cover, the dust risk should be minimal on the models... wat u guys use to clean the dust? as for me i use mopit...

RM330 should be a normal price currently for minichamps... furthermore its 2006 most looked for model... i think if it is sold here in malaysia, i think they will sell at higher price... maybe around RM380 or even more... besides tat, most models are increased in price due to material price increase like model cars from Autoart, Minichamps which is known as a quality diecast maker, should not be excluded from price increase as well...

its sad to see tat Renault has canceled the license on their models to Hotwheels, this means tat Hotwheels may not produce any Renault F1 cars for this season...
this is the news i got from GPL (hope can be reliable)... i was planning to get either Alonso or Piquet Jr's R28 from Hotwheels this year but now it seems to be impossible le... heard tat the license has been given to a diecast maker named Norev... Norev makes good diecast models especially on their Golf GTi which is quite superb... but i doubt if malaysia will have any Norev models available onot... |

They are a French company, so it's so only natural for Renault to award the license to their own kind.
Norev's 1:43 diecasts are selling for US$45 and 1:18 US$69.[Maybe more or less the same for Renault F1] Perhaps slightly more expensive that Hot Wheels. But I really have my eyes set on acquiring Kimi's Ferrari and/or Alonso's R28. Alonso's cars are really colourful, from the black minardi to the yellow/blue Renault to the chrome Mclaren and the ING orange-ish R28. But Lewis' cars have the most values, especially if you have his limited editions. |

YAHOOOOO!!!! I just received my package from Bob's Models. In it is Alonso's first F1 car, the Minardi PS01.
     There is a screw that holds the car at the bottom, so I removed it to take some better shots  And this is the back of the car[if you ever wondered]  Minardi is now the Red Bulls if I'm not mistaken. It was also confirmed that Mattel will not be replicating any Formula One cars other than the Ferraris this season, which we suspected when they only announced the F2008s on the 4th March. So better get those Hot Wheels of 2007 and previous year while you still can. I saw this as Jusco and decided to get it since it's cheap. They have Felipe Massa too but his helmet is ugly.

I've checked, and they have Hakkinen 2000 car too ! probably be getting both. |

Update :
i. My purchase of David's McLaren from mclaren.com Pos Malaysia really screwed up the delivery. They claimed that i didnt collect the item from the post office (i checked my mailbox every day! ) and they have sent it back to mclaren! now in contact with Mclaren online staff (very helpful and friendly guys ) to sort things out.2. I've ordered Mika MP4-15 from 2000 season from bob's model, because it is cheaper next i will definately order Mika's Barca test car.and i think i will focus more to 1/43 scale because of the price increase |

i give up waiting for the Heikki version to be available here in malaysia le... oso don think malaysia here will have any Norev models for the R28... juz forget bout it...  btw, never expect the wings are quite complicated for the renault model... i would prefer this one than the R28 coz of the side mirrors...           |

An update of my purchase from bob's model. They gave me time until 4th may for the parcel to arrive. So now, i've email-ed them back saying the parcel is still not here.
So right now they are filling forms on their side and they promise me to replace it with a new one without any cost. luckily i bought insurance before... |

I'm super pissed off with Eonbank. For starters, can you believe the officer did not know about the product I'm enquiring? He had to call main office[KL] to confirm if they sell the product. Now I submitted my form long time ago, they have not replied to activate my card. I'm stuck with a super duper a$$hole bank. Imagine this, HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SELLING? Don't work there , you retard!!!
It's like walking into a Mcdonalds, you ask them, do you sell nuggets? Then the staffs have to call McDonalds' headquater in KL to confirm! How the hell can you work at a bank and don't know what you're selling? |

It's a limited edition. Sold out everywhere and only available on ebay. Extremely sought after given the recent performance of the driver. I present you my latest acquisition! Minichamps Robert Kubica 1:43 2006 BMW F1.06 Hungary [his first Grand Prix debut with BMW-one of his earliest model]  Robert driving in the car.  I wanted to get his BMW f107 or maybe place a pre-order for F1.08[but only released December 2008! ] but this model is a killer. At least the value will rise after time. it's the same as purchasing any Lewis Hamilton's limited editions. PS. Pray to God it arrives safe and sound! I thought it'd be interesting to note that my parcel of Minichamps Robert Kubica sent by Royal Mail has been missing/lost/stolen and luckily I received a full refund!

I've been looking for that you know! But here in Malacca all we have is old stocks I think that team transporter is unique with the wonderful dioramas. Eligor manufactures the Ferrari team transporter in diecast metal but it costs about RM500+++ . But the detailing of it is superb and second to none! You know-lah those horror stories about Pos Malaysia/KASTAM...Mclaren, I won't recommend buying anything that exceeds RM300 or anything that is big/heavy because it'll probably get taxed. Apart from that, IF something unwanted happens, you'll be traumatized. You should probably contact Jacky, maybe he'll have that at his shop soon Sometimes he'll bring in limited editions but you have to wait 3-4 months after general release. Might be slow but safer.About custom taking away a car for duty is ridiculous...[did they take mine?  ]I'm super mad since the tracking number from Royal Mail[UK] clearly states that my item is IN Malaysia. btw its seems tat the 2007 f1 series of 1/64 has arrived here... i manage to complete the 1/64 hotwheels f1 set during the super gt season in KL... hotwheels has produced two versions of f2007, one normal red n one chrome red... n the package is totally different from other teams, wonder if tis is another proof of hotwheels has bias among other teams ah? i guess tis is the easiest n cheapest way to get the f2007 le kua...  package different, bias on other teams  two versions of f2007         |

gh0stz: hehe thanks! well, im not using any pro cams too... i juz take those shots with a vdeocam, so image quality aint tat good le...
n nice try on the pics... i do recommend daytime shot coz it can reflect a much natural light on the models... evoHahn: each costs RM16.90... Mclaren: sweetness... u should have lots of ferrari limited edition there man... wonder how u display all of them... can provide some shots on ur limited edition models display? btw an extra outdoor shot here...  tis is the one i bought from KLCC Parkson, so chun chun can find a good spot for this outdoor shot... Jasonist : just fews only.not much actually!compare with my crazy fren,who oledy own alot of ferrari limited edition such as monza,6666,brazil,shanghai,world champion for alonso,michael..crazy betul!
but my personally feel worth it bcos at reasonable price.my strategy now if limited edition cost around RM200-RM270(depend the currency exchange rate) and nowsaday,normal hotwheel car oledy cost RM229.just i need to spend RM100 more for shipping.so,why not get limited edition instead of normal edition.Moreover,the quality of the model is abit better than normal edition. Pic?hmmm...is hard for me to take it out and take a pic cos i put all of my collection in my cupboard and hide it.cos run out of space At the meantime,saw few kimi cars will released soon such as.. 1/43 Ferrari constructor champion with kimi & massa car

Finally, after going through a nightmare of having my car lost in the mail...
 Sent on 2nd June, reached on 8th June! All the way from UK. I highly recommend this online store if you want to buy, their diecasts are all below market price.  Hm...hologram stickers for BMW licensed product  With case  Without case  Top view  The attention to details are amazing. Although Vettel was BMW's test driver in 2006, he was on 'loan' from Red Bull. I appreciate that Minichamps took the alternative to accurately re-create Vettel's helmet.  Overall I'm pleased that the item arrived safely and I look forward to placing my order for Kubica's BMW Sauber. Also, it's nice to see that we have more active members and cheers to NEDF1, I really like Scott Speed's Red Bull and would love to get Mark Webber's car. I for once doubt anyone would want to get Coulthard's Red Bull. He hit Vettel and luckily he took the blame. Has anyone bought Kimi Raikkonen's F2007 in Metallic Red? nope....oni the rear 2 have...front 2 dun have...the reaar wheel is juz plain black aerodynamic piece...no pattern...the decal its juz to make it look nicer...i prefer without it....
