RM330 should be a normal price currently for minichamps... furthermore its 2006 most looked for model... i think if it is sold here in malaysia, i think they will sell at higher price... maybe around RM380 or even more... besides tat, most models are increased in price due to material price increase like model cars from Autoart, Minichamps which is known as a quality diecast maker, should not be excluded from price increase as well...

its sad to see tat Renault has canceled the license on their models to Hotwheels, this means tat Hotwheels may not produce any Renault F1 cars for this season... this is the news i got from GPL (hope can be reliable)... i was planning to get either Alonso or Piquet Jr's R28 from Hotwheels this year but now it seems to be impossible le... heard tat the license has been given to a diecast maker named Norev... Norev makes good diecast models especially on their Golf GTi which is quite superb... but i doubt if malaysia will have any Norev models available onot...

Added on April 3, 2008, 10:16 pmbout local dealer of BMW, i have asked by emailing to the Kuching Branch last time... and yes, they do sell 1/18 scale diecast models... but for F1 i'm not so sure... but its worth to take a visit to the dealer... u wont know wat u can discover there... besides the 1/1 scale lar...

i give up waiting for the Heikki version to be available here in malaysia le... oso don think malaysia here will have any Norev models for the R28... juz forget bout it... btw, never expect the wings are quite complicated for the renault model... i would prefer this one than the R28 coz of the side mirrors...

thanks! yup n tats a very bad news for collectors... but i don fear for other collectors from foreign countries, but for malaysia, i really doubt for the stock available from some makers which are not so familiar in the country like Solido, Norev n even minichamps since its not so widely available in the country...
