these 2 reasons are enough for me to update my phone! haha
because i face these 2 bugs in my current old version

for the reformat case le.. i already know it.....
it seems that the V4 n73 will auto detect the symbian application in the memory card and install automatically for me, but it turn out to be a trouble for me
everytime i update my phone , i am sure will reformat my card also,

after googling,
according to user experience, they said music playback quality using loudspeaker seems to be better(as chicaman said?)
system stability is better than older version(as our forumers say, better memory management and work faster?)
and the bug of equalizer in music player is fixed

wanna to ask those users have already updated to latest version,
is it worth to update it?overall is much better than older version?

does laterst N73 firmware update its music player interface to be like this?

no more a small ring cover the play and pause logo

just updated my n73 to v4.0750.31.2.1
these are the changes i discover

Improvements/bugs fixed:
-bug in the equalizer setting is fixed
-improved the speed when searching songs in the playlist contained a lot of songs. In another word, the search input is more responsive
-improved the speed when switching from camera mode to normal phone mode
-the speed is slightly faster when zooming picture
-added new online share icon

hmm .. that is weird
try to restart the phone and reset the setting ?and see whether still the same?

Improvement:
-there will be a sending icon(same as sms sending icon) and active bluetooth icon on top of screen during file transfer from N73 to other devices

bug:
-equalizer setting will change itself after restart.

hey all N73 users
do you all notice there is a little noise "hissss" while playing song by using earphone?
i can hear it quite obvious in very silent environment by using earphone
i wan to confirm it is n73hardware problem or my earphone create the noise
that noise always make me feel so disappointed about the N73 music quality.....

i can hear it after i stop the song...
what adapter you use to connnect earphone?
i want try it to find out the problem cause

the latest N73ME firmware, the v4.0750.31.2.1, i still can hear it
to discover this hissing noise.. u try to play a song.. then stop it.... then u can hear a bit hisss noise d.. and after a few second you stop the songs.. there is a little pop sound and the noise is gone(something to do with the current stop following through the earphone)
the hissing noise is only can be easily discovered in very silent place and with the volume set to maximum

i feel like this V4.0750.31.2.1 is an another leaked version...........

so far only the apac code has that version.. the rest still did not release this version, and the update news there, did not see any news about the latest version too

N73 does not support miniSDHC or 4GB miniSD, this what i think,
but Nokia could make it to support miniSDHC by updating the reader firmware only

ya only APAC.. it seems that this firmware is a leaked firmware rather than official.. since .. it is only available for APAC code

because the ")" at the address there caused the page cannot be found/link error

the front part of the N73 looks like plastic..... but the back part uses good material which is anti-fingerprint

nice font ya.. but i don't like to use the x-plorer, because it is not a freeware.. i have to find the cracked version...
and also the background color looks very weird to me..
now i am using Activefile 1.25 which is more or less the same as x-plorer functions, just that it is freeware!

hmm.. during symbian 6/7 i alway use that.. it is good freeware.. just that they just released unsigned beta for s60 v3... kinda sad... it has been so long time....but still at that stage..
activefile is my current choice ..
