Been there quite a few times, so far all the officer I met is really friendly and helpful, they told me how to avoid being tax as well. So everytime it end up that I just need to go there to declare my items, but no tax at all.
Parcel value + shipping cost, if it doesn't exceed RM500, then it's not dutiable.
