It won't be obvious for a beginner because they can't really differentiate between tones...... but once you get to know the neck and the pickups, yeah... then there is a big difference. If it's with the tremolo? Fuggattaboutit. The GRG Trem sucks BIG time.....

Gio = low end
RG = mid end RG prestige = high end the gio is quite ok for beginner to get as a starter guitar. the neck is quite thin too. but the difference is there, when u compare all of them side by side. from the playability (AANJ FTW |

The cheaper trem suck because they can go out of tune quite easily..... plus to me, the strings have a higher chance of breaking when you pull off some trem tricks.
SX arn't so bad...... give 'em a chance and you might be pleasantly surprised. |
