CODE
$puts(text,$if2(%title%,%_filename%)[ - by %artist%][ - from %album%] - %_foobar2000_version% - )
$puts(length,$len($get(text)))
// OR: $puts(length,40) to show a limited number of characters only
$right($get(text),$sub($get(length),$mod(%_time_elapsed_seconds%,$get(length))))
$left($get(text),$mod(%_time_elapsed_seconds%,$get(length)))

But where the heck do i put this thing ?? shakehead.gif

with regards to DSP's, the order you arrange them is also important is it not? maybe some guru can enlighten me. should i put resampler first or last just like skma. also, what's the difference between resampler SSRC & PPHS?
*
Resampler => [Other DSPs] => Volume Control => [One of limiters]
This is in the FAQ in foobar folder. tongue.gif

And this is my DSPs.

when playing mp3, my foobar used 6-15% of CPU usage, i cant figure what causing the problem, by the way i am using
-noise sharpening
-channel mixer
-advanced limiter
-resample(SSRC)
** this occur randomly but not always.

when playing .flac song, foobar sure using 7-8% of CPU usage, is that normal?
edit:
thankz acedriver.

Try putting your dsp in this order:
- resampler (SSRC)
- channel mixer
- noise sharpening
- advanced limiter

This should lower the CPU usage a little if not much.

oicicic: Did you try it ? I'm just suggesting the order of the DSPs based on the FAQ. If still like that, then it's best not to use the resampler at all. sweat.gif

I wondering if I can enable Kernel Streaming with Chaintech Av-710 VIA Envy 24PT sound card.

I tried to enable it but XP SP2 threw me a blue screen.

In foobar, under Kernel Streaming tab, it said "optimal resolution is 32 bits per sample".

Previously I can run it prefectly with my built in, Realteck AC97 ALC650 sound card.

Help anybody?
*
huh.gif I'm using KS just fine with the AV-710. Try referring to this thread too. http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=145868

my current active DSPs :
Advanced Limiter
ATSurround Processor
Equalizer
Noise sharpening
Resampler ( SSRC )
Spatial 3D
Volume Control

except for noise sharpening and volume control, the others seems to hav no effect to me..
mayb i configured it wrongly..
anybody out there using these DSPs?
can give some help pls?  blush.gif

Put your DSPs in this order. Maybe it will make a difference. Though i think you're using too many DSP. XD
Resampler => [Other DSPs] => Volume Control => [One of limiters]

Can sifus help me configure the setting for my onboard sound card? notworthy.gif
Currently no money to get a sound card... sad.gif

My current settings:

16bit fixed-point padded to 24bit

DSP:
Volume Control
Advanced Limiter
Resampler(SSRC) 96000Hz, slow mode

Output method:
Kernel Streaming
Btw, I am using Edifier S4.1 with Realtek ALC850 onboard sound device. sad.gif
*

Same as above. Put Resampler first in your DSP. I don't think slow mode is necessary. Too much CPU usage and i don't think there's much difference in sound if you use normal mode. But then again it's your ear. tongue.gif
