Good idea, 40D*2... And we get D80I would go for 40D and kit lens since that kit lens have IS. But my choice will be different if that kit don't have IS. Lens quality might be so-so. But if you have the skill, picture quality will be far better. even better than people who use 17-40L but got no skill
